Discrepancies between the provided artwork and information supplied in this entry form may result in exclusion from the exhibition and award.
- EMERGING ARTIST
  - Entrants into the Emerging Artist Category must be 16 - 25 years of age (entrants must turn 16 by 30 June 2026).
  - Entrants must not have won the Emerging Artist Award in previous years.
  - Entrants in this award category are NOT required to be an enrolled art student.
  - Emerging/new artists are encouraged to enter this award category.
  PORTRAITS
  - All entries to Portraits Category must be accompanied by a signed talent release form from the subject. Talent release forms are available for download or cossack.art@karratha.wa.gov.au and are to be uploaded with your online entry form at the end of this section. Failure to provide this may result in exclusion from the exhibition and award.
  NORTH WEST FLORA & FAUNA
  - Entries into this category must primarily feature Flora and Fauna native to the North West of Western Australia.
  WORKS ON PAPER
  - Entries into this category must be created on paper.
  PILBARA LANDSCAPE
  - Entries into this category must feature a landscape from the Pilbara region.
  PAINTING BY PILBARA INDIGENOUS ARTIST
  - Entries into this category must be created by an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander artist, residing in the Pilbara region.
  - Artwork must be a painting.
  OPEN THEME
  - Entries into this category may feature any subject or theme.
  REQUIREMENTS
  - Only one artwork per artist may be submitted (diptych and triptych are not eligible).
  - Works cannot be collaborative and must be completed by an individual artist.
  - Photography and digital works will not be accepted.
  - Artwork that exceeds more than 1cm from the canvas will not be accepted.
  - All entries must be two-dimensional only. All three-dimensional works will be deemed ineligible.
  - While works must be two dimensional, any medium and/or any support type can be submitted for all categories, except where otherwise noted.
  - A work may be entered into one category only.
  - All works submitted must be the artist’s own original work and executed in the previous 12 months.
  - All works must be suitably framed and/or stretched.
  - All works must be fitted with appropriate hanging devices such as ‘D’ rings and wire.
  - The maximum dimension of artworks must be:

  - All categories are acquisitive.

  Provide a short statement about your work; this will be included in your artwork's online listing and other relevant platforms.

- Please upload an image of your final artwork (max 10mb). This image will be used for identification and curatorial purposes and will not be used for award selection. It must clearly match your delivered entry.*
