Willow & Whiskers Summer Book Fest Vendor Application
Who We Are:
Willow & Whiskers is a nonprofit rescue and bookstore ran exclusively by veterinary professionals dedicated to supporting cats living with Feline Leukemia (FeLV). These cats have limited rescue resources. We’ve built a unique fundraising model through book sales and community markets to provide them sanctuary, medical care, and long happy lives. Every event we run is part of that mission. Vendor fees and sales at the Willow & Whiskers booth go directly toward the care of these special cats.
Tax-Deductible Note
As we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, vendor fees are considered a donation supporting our rescue efforts. You’ll receive a receipt after submission, which can be used for tax purposes. Always consult a tax professional if needed.

Event Description:
Step into a vibrant indoor book festival filled with authors, bookish vendors, and thoughtfully curated small businesses. The Willow & Whiskers Summer Book Fest is designed to bring together readers, creators, and the local community in a lively, welcoming space centered around stories, creativity, and connection.
Inside, guests will explore a dynamic mix of author signings, literary vendors, and unique shopping experiences. Outside, the atmosphere continues with food trucks and themed photo areas, creating a full event experience that blends cozy indoor browsing with fun outdoor elements.
This event is ideal for authors and vendors looking to connect with a highly engaged, book-loving audience while supporting a meaningful cause.

Event Setup
• This is an indoor vendor event with outdoor food trucks and photo areas
• Vendors and authors will be assigned a 10x10 indoor space
• Vendors must provide their own tables, chairs, and displays
• Tables are available for authors upon request
• Setup instructions and arrival times will be provided closer to the event date
Vendor Layout
All vendors and authors will be located indoors to create a cohesive and high-traffic shopping and browsing experience. The layout is designed to encourage flow between author tables, bookish vendors, and retail spaces, keeping guests engaged throughout the event.
Outdoor areas will feature food trucks and designated photo installations, providing additional experiences for guests without pulling focus away from the indoor vendor space.
Vendor placement is thoughtfully arranged to avoid clustering similar businesses and to maintain a balanced and engaging layout.
Vendor Requirements
All vendors are responsible for meeting legal requirements related to their products. Food vendors must adhere to cottage law or appropriate food regulations. Food trucks and drink trucks must meet their own specific requirements. Vendors selling items like bath and body products must comply with regulations for their category. Any vendor found not adhering to required legal standards may be asked to leave by the health department. In such cases, no refunds will be given for the vendor spot.
Weather Policy
This event will take place rain or shine. Vendors are expected to come prepared for outdoor weather conditions.
In the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions that require cancellation, the decision will be made by Willow & Whiskers or the venue. Vendor fees are nonrefundable, including in the case of weather-related cancellations.
