Educational program expectations

Faith and Friends Preschool is an educational only program and not a daycare facility. All students are expected to meet the following behavioral standards in order to ensure a safe and educational environment for all students.
Behavioral standards for the classroom:
- Students should be able to sit and attend to an adult led activity (story time or a short lesson) for 5-15 minutes based on their classroom level.
- Students should exhibit age-appropriate ability to follow directions and rules.
- Students should be respectful to staff and peers.
- Students must follow all classroom safety rules.
- Students should have age-appropriate social skills in the areas of communication, sharing and interactive play.
- Students should be able to work independently with occasional assistance for age appropriate activities.
Behaviors that are not acceptable in the classroom:

(continued behaviors may lead to dismissal from the program if they are affecting the learning enviroment for other students)
- Continually disrupting class or distracting other students during lessons
- Not respecting the personal space of others
- Frequent tantrums (occurring 50% of attending days)
- Disrespecting teachers or peers
- Refusal to participate learning activities
- Disobeying teachers or class rules
Behaviors that are not tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the program:
- Intentionally causing harm to self or others
- Disobeying safety rules that may cause harm to self or others
- Intentionally destroying property of facility or property of others
- Any exhibit of violent behaviors- physical or verbal
*Expectations vary based on the classroom level your child is entering, more advanced curriculums require a greater ability to focus for longer time periods, problem solving without frustration and working together with peers.

**Our program puts great emphasis on character and emotional growth and aims to help all students further develop in these areas. However, to ensure all students are receiving the best educational environment and all families are receiving equal accommodations we are not able to provide extensive one on one support to children who are not ready for this type of educational environment.
I understand that Faith & Friends Preschool is an academic center and by submitting this form I believe my child is able to meet behavioral expectations of the program. I also understand that upon the start of the school year if my child is not able to meet these expectations within the first 2-3 weeks of school they will not be allowed to continue in the program. If you have questions regarding your child's preschool readiness please contact us prior to submitting this form.

I understand Faith and Friends is a Christian preschool and faith based lessons and prayer is part of our daily curriculum

Placement guarantee

Tuition will be divided into 10 equal payments: 1 non-refundable deposit and 9 monthly payments for September-May. Your placement is not guaranteed until the deposit is received. Any gift card program credits accrued over the summer months, scholarships, or other discounts will be adjusted on the September tuition statement and the tuition agreement at the beginning of the school year. Your spot will be held for 2 weeks following the submission of this form.
