SDC 2026 Summer Camp Registration

Informed Consent and Acknowledgement

I hereby give my approval for my child’s participation in any and all activities prepared by Shelley's Dance Company Ltd. during the selected camp. In exchange for the acceptance of said child’s candidacy by Shelley's Dance Company Ltd., I assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless Shelley's Dance Company Ltd. and all its respective officers, agents, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from selected camp sessions.

In case of injury to said child, I hereby waive all claims against Shelley's Dance Company Ltd. including all teachers and affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event. There is a risk of being injured that is inherent in all dance activities. Some of these injuries include, but are not limited to, the risk of fractures, paralysis, or death.

FOIP Release

Shelley's Dance Company may utilize my child's photographic image and/or name in its public relations and communication materials created between a period of a year from the date consent is signed. I realize that I may withdraw my consent in writing at any time by contacting Shelley's Dance Company. I understand that the photograph(s) and/or name may be used in a publication, print advertisement, direct-mail piece, electronic media (e.g., social media applications, video, CD-ROM, internet, World Wide Web, etc.) or other form of communication. In giving my consent, I hereby release and hold harmless Shelley's Dance Company and their agents, employees, officials, representatives and contractors from any and all responsibility or liability for damage of any kind suffered in any matter whatsoever. I hereby relinquish any and all personal or proprietary rights I may have in connection with such use. I understand that I will receive no compensation should any photograph of me be used.

Confirmation

BY ACKNOWLEDGING AND SIGNING BELOW, I AM DELIVERING AN ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE THAT WILL HAVE THE SAME EFFECT AS AN ORIGINAL MANUAL PAPER SIGNATURE. THE ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE WILL BE EQUALLY AS BINDING AS AN ORIGINAL MANUAL PAPER SIGNATURE.

SDC Mini Camps (Ages 3 - 5)
Session 1: Bluey's Dance Adventure - July 6 - 10 ~ 9:30am - 11:30am
Session 2: Paw Patrol Dance Patrol - August 24 - 28 ~ 9:30am - 11:30am

Join us for a week of fun activities to introduce your dancer to the world of dance in a playful and engaging way. The camp will include basic ballet, jazz, creative movement, and rhythm exercises, all tailored to suit the development of young dancers. There will also be plenty of music, games, and arts and craft activities to keep the little dancers entertained and inspired throughout the camp!

 
SDC Junior Camps (Ages 6 - 9)
Session 1: KPOP Demon Hunters - July 6 - 10 ~ 9:00am - 4:00pm
Session 2: Beach Party - August 24 - 28 ~ 9:00am - 4:00pm

An energetic and dynamic environment, catering to the growing skills and interests of young dancers. This camp offers a mix of dance styles such as ballet, jazz, and lyrical providing a well-rounded experience for participants to explore different forms of movement. With a balance of structured instruction and playful exploration, the camp will empower young dancers to develop their technique, creativity, and confidence in a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.


SDC Intermediate Camp (Ages 9 - 12)
Session 1: July 13 - 17 ~ 9:00am - 4:00pm
Session 2: August 17 - 21 ~ 9:00am - 4:00pm

This camp offers a more focused and intensive experience catering towards growing skills and maturity for the intermediate dancer. The camp will provide a comprehensive curriculum covering various dance styles including ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, and an introduction to contemporary allowing participants to deepen their understanding and proficiency in each discipline. In addition to technique classes, there will be emphasis on artistic expression, musicality, and performance skills. This camp will be a supportive environment that will empower young dancers to further develop their talent, passion, and discipline in pursuit of their dance goals.


SDC Ballet Intensive (Ages 8 & Up)
Morning Session: August 10 - 14 ~ 9:00am - 1:00pm (Grade 4 - Advanced Foundation)
Afternoon Session: August 10 - 14 ~ 1:00am - 5:00pm (Advanced 1 - Solo Seal)

A dedicated and immersive experience designed to refine the ballet skills and technique of dancers with a focus in ballet training. The camp will offer a structured program focusing primarily on classical ballet training, with daily classes in ballet technique, pointe work, variations, and conditioning. Emphasis will be placed on proper alignment, strength, flexibility, and artistry, with individual attention given to each dancer’s technical and artistic development. *Minimum RAD level of Intermediate Foundation Required


SDC Advanced Intensive (Ages 12 & Up)
August 17 - 21 ~ 9:00am - 4:00pm

This intensive will be a diverse and comprehensive training experience for aspiring young dancers. The intensive will provide a balanced schedule that encompasses technical proficiency, artistic expression, and versatility across multiple dance styles. Daily classes will include ballet, contemporary, jazz, jumps and turns, pilates, hip hop and more.

Guest instructors and choreographers from diverse backgrounds will provide valuable insights and inspiration to further enrich the students’ learning experience. There will also be opportunities for cross training, such as Sugarfoot, conditioning, flexibility, and pilates to support the physical demands of dancing in multiple styles. Overall the camp will be a challenging environment for young dancers to expand their skills, creativity, and passion for dance across a variety of genres.
