Use this application to apply for the MECHW Certification through reciprocity. Candidates are eligible to apply for reciprocity if they are certified CHWs from other states who move into and/or work in Maine and can demonstrate that their certification has equivalent standards to Maine CHW certification, in particular aligning with competencies from the C3Project.  Reciprocity allows candidates to apply for Maine CHW certification without completing additional core competency training. Please note completion of this application does not automatically grant you the certification. You will need to provide documentation that you have met the requirements, including passing an assessment (if applicable). Please have ALL documentation and payment ready prior to submitting your application. Refer to the MECHW website for specific application requirements.
