    All Distinction recipients from the Qualifying Stage are eligible to register here for the Final Stage Competition.

    No separate invitation or additional notification is required.

    IMPORTANT: To finalize this registration, our system will cross-reference the parent's email address, student’s name, and school details with your original Qualifying Stage records. Please ensure these details are identical to your previous entry to ensure your child's Distinction status is successfully verified.

    Online Start Time:
    Year 3 to Year 6: Starts 9:30am sharp
    Year 7 to Year 9: Starts 10:30am sharp
    Year 10 to Year 13: Starts 11:30am sharp

    Format:
    This Final Stage is conducted fully online. Students may participate from home or any suitable environment using a laptop, tablet or desktop computer with a stable internet connection.

    Paper: 
    - Year 3 to Year 11: Consists of 25 single and multiple-choice problem-solving questions
    - Year 12 and Year 13: Consists of 20 single and multiple-choice problem-solving questions

    Duration: 60 minutes

    Recognition:
    All finalists receive a Distinguished Archimedes e-Certificate, awarded at one of the following levels:

    - Distinction
    - Merit
    - Participation

    By submitting this registration, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

    • Unique Candidate ID: Upon successful submission, your child’s Unique ID Number will be displayed immediately on the confirmation screen and on the automated email to your registered email address. This must be entered correctly on the competition paper for identification and marking.
    • Proctoring & Integrity: To protect the prestige of your child’s accomplishment, we have implemented a specialised Proctoring System. Students must work in a quiet space with a functioning camera, microphone and stable internet.
    • Competition Link & Instructions: Secure links will be emailed one week before the event. Please monitor your inbox and spam folders. If the link has not arrived by the end of 19th March 2026, please contact us immediately.
    • Finality of Results: Award grading (Distinction, Merit or Participation) and all our academic council decisions are final and binding.
    • Attendance & Refunds: This is a strictly timed event; participants must attend their allocated session. Fees are non-refundable. The Archimedes Awards is not responsible for missed sessions due to late arrival or local technical failures. If an emergency prevents participation, please contact us on the day of the competition to apply for special consideration. Approval for any rescheduling is at our sole discretion and requires valid proof (e.g., a medical certificate).
    • Data Privacy (GDPR): This form must be completed by a parent or guardian (18+). Data is used solely for competition administration and handled securely under UK GDPR.
