  • On Saturday, May 30, 2026, Palm Springs will transform into a sea of white silk and golden curls. We are rallying 500 participants to shatter the world record for the largest gathering of Marilyn Monroe look-alikes—culminating in a synchronized martini toast beneath the desert sun.

    This isn’t just a photo op; it’s a citywide cultural takeover. Marilyn 100 is extending an exclusive invitation to local creators and businesses to help us roll out the red carpet.

    The Challenge: Create a "Marilyn Moment"

    We are looking for curated events, menus, and experiences that capture the glamour, art, and beauty of the ultimate icon. Whether you run a high-fashion boutique or a late-night lounge, your contribution will be featured in the Marilyn 100 Schedule of Events.

    Submission is FREE.

    We are seeking creative programming from:

    Restaurants & Bars: Craft "Mocktini" menus, "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" brunches, or mid-century steakhouse dinners.

    Art Galleries: Host pop-art exhibits, photography showcases, or live sketching sessions inspired by the star.

    Concert Venues & Movie Theatres: Program 1950s jazz nights, film screenings, or vintage variety shows.

    Drag Shows: Produce high-glamour Monroe tributes and diamond-studded performances.

    Hotels: Design "Old Hollywood" stay packages or poolside vintage fashion shows.

    How to Submit

    To be included in the official programming, your event must embody Marilyn's sophisticated spirit. Think glamour, not kitsch.

  • Marilyn 100 Event Application

    Right of Refusal: PRIDE reserves the right to disqualify or reject any submission at any stage of the process without prior notice. By submitting, the applicant acknowledges that PRIDE maintains exclusive editorial and administrative control over the event lineup. We reserve the right to curate the event based on our internal criteria, scheduling needs, and brand alignment. Applicant waives any right to claim "implied contract" or "duty of fairness" regarding the selection process.

    Palm Springs’ wildly popular Drag pageant returns. See a bevy of beautiful show queens vie for the crown in this lavish production around the glitz and glamour of Broadway. These “triple-threat” contenders weave their own unique panache into their impersonations of Broadway’s most beloved talents. Some with true abilities, others just wannabes, these beauty queens will strut their stuff vying for top billing in evening gown, talent and swimsuit competitions. Hosted by Palm Springs’ own drag diva, Bella da Ball.

    The Pride Drag is a unique, one-of-a-kind Pride event that crowds continue to flock to year after year. Last year’s production was a smash hit and kicked off Palm Springs Pride festivities with real bang! Don’t miss your chance to see this wildly popular Drag pageant.   • This Promotional Agreement is entered into between Greater Palm Springs Pride, a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation, hereinafter referred to as "PRIDE," and the individual, nonprofit organization, or company submitting this Marilyn 100 Event Application, hereinafter referred to as "PRODUCER."

    WHEREAS, PRIDE and PRODUCER desire to enter into an agreement in which PRIDE will offer PRODUCER certain promotional opportunities in association with being a Marilyn 100 Event, all subject to the terms and conditions provided below.

    PRODUCER acknowledges that the Marilyn 100 Event is a fan and community tribute and NOT an official, authorized, or licensed event. Marilyn 100 is not sponsored by the "Marilyn Monroe Estate" or ABG."

    PRODUCER will not use copyrighted photographs of official merchandise in their marketing.

    PRODUCER will ensure they are not promoting themselves as the "official" ANYTHING Marilyn Monroe, but rather hosting a tribute to Marilyn Monroe.

    When an event is accepted as a Marilyn 100 Event, PRIDE promotes it through its marketing channels and includes it in Marilyn 100 Event listings for the celebration. The PRODUCER must not rely solely on PRIDE’s marketing efforts to promote an event.

    PRIDE encourages PRODUCER to look at PRIDE as an ancillary marketing channel to help get the word out.

    Marilyn 100 Events are not Sponsorships of Marilyn 100.

    As a Marilyn 100 Event, PRIDE will:

    a) Donate its marketing services to promote details of the EVENT. Marketing materials will include the pspride.org website;

    b) Endorse the event as a “Marilyn 100 Event” and approve your use of this tag in its marketing;

    b.1) Provide “Marilyn 100 Event” logo and grant permission to use it in conjunction with PRODUCER’S marketing efforts surrounding the Event;

    b.2) As a Marilyn 100 Event, PRODUCER agrees to include the Marilyn 100 Event logo and Pride URL in all PRODUCER advertising of the event to promote participation in the May 30 record breaking event;

    b.3) PRODUCER agrees that it will not produce, or market any other events as a Marilyn 100 Event, other than the event(s) detailed in this Marilyn 100 Event Application;

    c) Serve as a marketing partner to you; however, Palm Springs Pride is not involved in planning, production, or staging of the event.

    PRODUCER AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING:

    a) PRODUCER agrees not to solicit or otherwise engage with PRIDE or Marilyn 100 Event sponsors for the event detailed in this application;

    b) Non-Discrimination. PRODUCER shall not discriminate against any person or persons in connection with the admission, services, or privileges offered to or enjoyed by the general public because of race, creed, ancestry, sexual orientation or affectional preference, disability, color, sex, marital status, age, religion, or national origin.

    c) PRODUCER as Sole Producer and Responsible Party: PRODUCER is the sole producer of event(s) listed in this application, and PRODUCER assumes full responsibility for every aspect of the production of the event(s), including, but not limited to marketing, promotions, staffing, risk management, and compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws and ordinances related to public events where liquor sales are conducted. Further, PRODUCER is solely responsible for payment of any excise and sales taxes that may be incurred as a result of the taxable sale of food, beverages, merchandise, or other concessions which are sold by PRODUCER at its event(s).
