  • 2026 Black Arts Festival Food Vendor

    Please fill in the form below to register your business or organization for the Black Arts Festival Saturday July 11, 2026 from 11am to 8pm. Forms that are not completely filled out will not be accepted.
  • All vendor registration, fees and forms will be due NO LATER THAN 5pm on JUNE 1st, 2026 at 5pm.

  • Terms & Conditions

    All vendors will be fined for any damage to city property. No weapons or contraband allowed and a $50 Penalty fee will be enforced for noncompliance. All vendor registration, fees, and forms are due NO LATER THAN June 1st, 2026 AT 5PM. Vendor fees may be paid by money order, cashier’s check, debit/credit card or non-profit organization check. All payments are non refundable after June 1st, 2026.
  • NOTICE: BACC BUSINESS MEMBERS GET FREE REGISTRATION TO VEND

    As a member, you can vend free at ALL BACC events, free temporary food permit, get access to business resources and 2 free event space rentals at BACC for $350/year. Not a member? Join on our website.
  • Why Become A Vendor This Year:

    • We generated over 5000 attendees last year

      Not to mention you get to enjoy some of the best performers and artist experiences Kalamazoo has to offer.

    • The festival is an all-day event (11am to 8pm) resulting in more exposure and customers.
  • Food Vendors:

    •  Accepting both tent vendors and food trucks. 

    •  Must comply with Health Department regulations. Call 269- 373- 5210 or  visit https://www.kalcounty.com/hcs/eh/food/temporary-food.htm . No disposal of grease or any other substances anywhere in or on city sidewalks and pavement.

    • Trucks must remain on pavement. Vendor will be held responsible for repairs for any damage to sod and/or underground irrigation as a result of parking on any grass.  

    • All vehicles, when not manned, must have the keys removed from the ignition.

    • Any violation of this policy will result in a $150 fee. 

    • Tractors cannot be attached to storage trailers during the event

    •  Spotters are required at all times when backing up. 

    •  Any leakage or markings (such as oil, grease, charcol, antifreeze or other fluids as well as tire marks, etc.) on the site that are not removed by standard pressure washing at the close of the event will be appropriately cleaned or  replaced at the cost of the vendor.

    • All vendors must submit up to date permits no later than June 20, 2025, which include Food service license and Michigan sales tax license. No permits will be accepted after this date.

    • Sanitation and Covid precautions must be in place for each truck ( i.e. working wash stations, gloves, sanitizer, etc)

    • Set Up begins at 9am and break down begins at 8pm

    •  All food vendors must be out/off site by 10pm. 

  • Please Note: The Health Department Inspections will take place day of festival on July 11, 2026 at 10:30am sharp. All food vendors MUST be completely set up and ready at this time.

    Any vendors who are not set up at the time of inspection will not be cleared to vend and will need to leave the festival grounds, NO EXECPTIONS will be made and you will not be given a refund.

    If you can not commit to repecting the time of both the health inspectors and the festival staff, then please do not register for this event.
