Rules & Regulations
Participation in this event is voluntary and at the exhibitor’s own risk. All exhibitors, riders, trainers, owners, spectators, and other participants acknowledge the inherent risks of equine activities, including but not limited to the risks outlined in the liability waiver associated with this entry.
Highbury Stables LLC, Correia-Bittner Equine LLC, show management, and their employees, agents, and volunteers shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, accident, injury, or illness to persons, horses, or property occurring on the show grounds or during participation in the event. Each minor exhibitor must have a parent or legal guardian sign the required liability release.
Each entrant is responsible for ensuring they are mounted on a properly conditioned horse and ride in a safe and responsible manner. Show management reserves the right to stop, eliminate, or excuse any rider or horse deemed unsafe, unfit, or disruptive at any time.
ASTM/SEI–approved helmets with a properly fastened harness and boots with heels are required whenever mounted. A properly fitted body protector is required for cross-country riding. Abuse of horses or unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.
Show management reserves the right to modify class schedules, combine or divide classes, or make any changes necessary to ensure the safety and orderly operation of the event.
Unless otherwise stated, competitions will be conducted in accordance with the United States Eventing Association (USEA) rules or USEF Rules and Regulations, as applicable.
Cross-country schooling under the supervision of a qualified instructor may be permitted after completion of the show, at the discretion of show management.
There is no onsite medical personnel for this event. Participants are responsible for their own medical insurance and emergency care.
