Junior Zoo Keeper Camp
Ages 13 - 17
Junior Zoo Keeper Camp offers an in-depth look at careers in conservation, animal science, and veterinary medicine. Participants will learn how animals are trained for routine health checks and veterinary procedures, tour the zoo’s on-site veterinary clinic, and hear directly from the zoo’s veterinarian about real-world animal care. This camp is ideal for teens interested in pursuing veterinary, animal science, or conservation-related careers.

Tuesday, May 26 - Friday, May 29 (4 days)
TIMES:
9 AM - 3:30 PM Daily
CAMP INCLUDES:
T-shirt, lunch, and a variety of interactive lessons each day provided by our Zoo Keepers and other Zoo staff.
MUST BRING / REQUIRED:
- Wear clothing that you can get dirty
- Wear tennis shoes or work boots you can get dirty
- Water bottle is required!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED:
- You may bring an extra pair of clothes
- Work gloves and a hat
- Suncreen is recommended
