Garden Kit Options for 2026

Edible Flint’s Garden Starters program sells garden kits at our Annual Plant Sale (formerly Distribution Day). We heard your feedback and are excited to bring some key changes to this year’s sale. All of this year’s kits are created by you!

There are two options, Build-A-Kit and Select-A-Kit. All kits include 3 seed packs that you will choose on site. This is also the first year we will hold our Plant Sale pickup at the Edible Flint Educational Farm on May 16, 2026. Please read the entire order form before submitting it.

All funds raised by the Plant Sale support Edible Flint’s mission to help community residents grow and access healthy food, reconnect with the land, and connect with one another.

Please note: kits are available only to Genesee County residents.

You can order Build-A-Kit or Select-A-Kit with cash, check, debit/credit card, and EBT/Bridge Card.

Compost, pollinator, and raised bed kits are not eligible for EBT/Bridge Card.

All orders must be picked up at the Plant Sale on May 16, 2026 at the Edible Flint Educational Farm located at 1628 Beach St., Flint, MI, between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Edible Flint programs and materials are open to all without regard to race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, disability, political beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, or family status.

Select the number of each type of kit/item you would like to order. Kits are available while supplies last! If you are interested in a larger quantity of kits or compost, please contact us by email at info@edibleflint.org or call 810-853-7733.
