To the best of my knowledge, my child is in good health and is able to participate in all camp activities, except any conditions listed above. I will inform Camp Triumph if my child becomes exposed to any serious, or infectious diseases (i.e. vomiting/diarrhea, flu, COVID-19, etc.), or respiratory illnesses within four weeks of attending camp. I will notify camp staff promptly of any changes to the above medical information. I authorize the staff of Camp Triumph to seek medical advice and services, as may be deemed necessary for the health and safety of my child/ward, in the event that the contact provided cannot be reached in a timely manner. This may include standard first aid, transportation to hospital, ambulance service, and treatment in the emergency department. I agree to accept financial responsibility in excess of the benefits provided by Provincial Insurance for any costs incurred by Camp Triumph in the care of my child.

  • HOMESICKNESS POLICY

Homesickness is a normal reaction for some when leaving home. If there are signs of homesickness, the Director will work closely with the camper, the counsellors, and the parents/guardians to help the camper successfully adjust to being away from home. This process is an important learning/growth experience for the camper. In the unlikely event the Director decides that continuing the camping experience would not be in the child’s best interest, the parents/guardians will be contacted. Please refrain from calling to directly contact your child. But do feel free to contact the Director.

We will do everything appropriate to satisfy your child’s needs. If there is any difficulty with your child’s adjustment to camp you will be informed promptly. Experience has shown that once campers have been set up in their cabins and parents have met their counsellors, a quick departure works best. Additionally, setting the goal for your camper to stay all week is a very helpful one so they can work towards it.

  • WAIVER

The safety and well being of your child will be monitored and supervised in all camp activities and at all times. I acknowledge my son/daughter will be participating in, but not limited to, the following activities: campfire, art's and crafts, soccer, kayaking, swimming, lacrosse, archery, basketball, ball hockey, camp-wide games, volleyball, tennis, gaga ball, and the challenge course. These activities will be supervised and provided in a safe environment.

Regardless of swimming ability, all campers are only permitted to swim during designated times, with qualified supervision. The challenge course is a well-controlled activity and is designed to be challenging, as well as educational and loads of fun. All Camp Triumph activities are run by trained staff, with the safety and enjoyment of your child being paramount.

I recognize and acknowledge the risk of injury or disability cannot be totally eliminated. My child does not have any existing medical conditions that should exclude him/her from any activities, except as indicated. My child is participating with the knowledge of potential risk.

  • Holding Deposit

  • Camp Triumph is 100% free for campers.

A Camp Triumph experience costs more than $800 per camper ($1,000 for Leadership Campers). With just one full-time employee and one full-time volunteer, and with no significant government funding or major sponsors our small staff works hard throughout the off-season applying for grants, hosting fundraisers, attracting donors, and organizing campaigns to ensure all qualifying campers can attend for free. This is a cornerstone of Camp Triumph of which we are very proud as we serve an often un-recognized population of children. As a registered charity, we welcome and encourage donations of any denomination to accompany a child's holding deposit. Together we can ensure more children are able to benefit from everything Camp Triumph has to offer. Thank you!

New since 2025, we can no longer accept mailed cheques as a method of holding a camper’s spot. We require all applicants to pay the $100 deposit upfront which will be refunded to you when your camper arrives at camp. You can choose to donate this sum at any time (tax receipted), but are not obliged to.

Once your application is submitted online and the holding deposit has been processed, we will review and process your application. You will be notified the session in which your camper was placed via email. We ask that you reply to that email to notify us that you received the placement email.

The refundable holding deposit ensures your camper’s spot at camp. If your child does not attend camp (or you cancel prior to their session), after being accepted and placed in a session, then the $100 will not be refunded.

If we are unable to accept your child, we will return your deposit.
