In this years iteration of Silver in the Streets we will be migrating our parking down the road slightly to Sweetbay Brewing Company in Abingdon, VA

The Virginia Airstream Club invites you to join us in Downtown Abingdon in May 2026 from 5/14-5/17. There is something for everyone from the Theatre or Bike riding or Trout fishing.

The event starts with Parking on Thursday Afternoon, with a pizza dinner mixer and get to know Abingdon. Friday can take you in many directions. Hike, Bike, Tour. Or trout fish the Holston River. Walk through town and visit the Martha Washington Inn, drive part of Country Music's Crooked Road. Check the Abingdon Website or give us a call. Love to see ya!

Based on the new location we only have ~10 parking spaces. Once we fill up those spaces we will create a waitlist.

Damascus Trail Days (May 15-17) will be held during our visit. The Appalacian Trail is now usable and open to Damascus. The Creeper Trail from Whitetop to Damascus continues to not be open due to the storm damage from Helene. Work began on the Creeper in January of 2026.

NOTE: This is a boondocking rally. There will be no power available at the site, however generators are welcome.

May 15 - This day is your after breakfast. We will organize a hike or other activity based on demand.

May 16 - Attend the Farmer's Market which will be a walkable distance or bike ride. We plan to hold an open house in the afternoon, but that is up to the owner's discretion. Gather prior to supper.

May 17 - Hitch up and leave by noon. Safe travels! See you down the road.
