First Friday 2026 Application Form
  • First Friday Event Registration 2026

Complete the form below to register for First Friday events. While you may request a certain location, space is limited and demand is high so we do not guarantee a specific location.
  • Main Street Greencastle aims to revitalize and preserve the economic vitality, historic character, and cultural significance of our downtown area. First Fridays play a key role in achieving this mission. These monthly events draw residents and visitors to the heart of our community, providing a platform for local businesses, artists, and non-profits to thrive while fostering a sense of connection and civic pride.

We welcome you to be a vendor at our monthly First Friday events, held the first Friday of each month, May through October from 6-11pm.

    2026 Dates:  May 1 | June 5 | July 3 | August 7 | September 4 | October 2

All vendors must have a signed Vendor Agreement on file with Main Street Greencastle (MSG).

As a First Friday vendor, you agree to abide by the following rules and guidelines, and you also understand that failure to do so could result in one or more of the following:

    • Being required to leave the First Friday event without reimbursement.
    • Not be allowed to set up a vendor booth at any future First Friday events, regardless of financial contributions and with no refunds.

    Rules and Guidelines

    1. Payment is due at least seven days before the event, cash and check payments should be made payable to; Main Street Greencastle and sent to 1 N. Locust St., Greencastle, IN, 46135. If payment is not received in this timeframe your space may be forfeited. If for whatever reason, you cannot attend the event, notification must be given to MSG 48 hours before the start of the event to receive your vendor fee back. Vendors can pay in full, for the entire year, or the remaining events, at any time.
    2. All vendors are responsible for their own equipment i.e. tables, chairs, signage. etc.
    3. All vendors are responsible for setting up their spaces no earlier than 4:00 p.m. and no later than 5:30 p.m. All vendors are responsible for tearing down their spaces no earlier than 9:00 p.m. and no later than 10:45 p.m.
    4. All vendors are responsible for their products and belongings as well as payment acceptance at their booths. MSG takes no responsibility for lost or stolen products or personal belongings. MSG cannot and does not provide cash, credit/debit card readers, safety boxes, or any other payment handling or payment storage.
    5. All vendors must stay within their assigned areas, this includes any marketing/promotional material. Booth spaces are designated by parking spaces on the streets and are assigned by MSG.
    6. No explicit or adult material or content is allowed. MSG has the right to deem any product or material inappropriate and can require that product or material be removed from the event.
    7. All vendors must submit a Certificate of Insurance (COI) from their insurance provider, listing Main Street Greencastle, Inc. as an insured entity. These must be valid through the end of 2026. To request a Certificate of Insurance, contact your insurance provider and ask for a COI naming Main Street Greencastle as additional insured. There is typically no cost to issue a COI.
    8. Food vendors are solely responsible to meet and abide by all health and safety regulations as well as applying for any and all permits that may be required to operate. Food vendors must have all permits and licenses on hand at all events.
    9. Food vendors may sell alcohol in addition to prepared food items. Prepared food means items that are cooked or assembled on-site and ready to eat—such as sandwiches, pizza, appetizers, or hot meals. These must be available for customers to order and eat on the premises.
      • If you are a brick-and-mortar business, you can apply to participate in DORA  (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area). You are then eligible to serve alcohol in DORA cups and customers may leave your vendor location with their drinks. An application to participate in DORA is $50. DORA cups have an additional cost and can be purchased from the City of Greencastle.
      • If you are not a brick-and-mortar business, you will need to apply for a Temporary Beer & Wine Permit through the state ($50/day). You are then eligible to serve alcohol in DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) cups and customers may leave your vendor location with their drinks. An application to participate in DORA is $50. DORA cups have an additional cost and can be purchased from the City of Greencastle. If you plan to serve beer or wine directly from your food truck window, that window becomes classified as a bar. This means it must be enclosed or roped off appropriately, and minors cannot have access to it. Alternatively, you may choose to set up a separate bar area away from your food truck for alcohol service. This allows you to keep your main food service window open and accessible to all customers, including minors, without any alcohol being passed through that window.
    10. Electricity is not available unless specifically arranged with the event coordinator in advance of the event; there is a limited capacity that is available around the Courthouse Square.

Please note that Main Street Greencastle prioritizes the sales and foot traffic for our downtown businesses. Our goal for First Friday is to have a diversity of vendors that offer products or services that complement existing businesses as well as each other, rather than directly compete. As a result, we may limit which vendors are selected to be at First Friday events.
