A FIDE Open / FIDE Major Under 2000 / FIDE Minor Under 1650 tournament of five rounds.Age 16+ only.
One round on Friday, two on Saturday and two on Sunday.
All sections are FIDE and ECF rated.
VENUE RESTRICTIONS
Under 16's are not permitted in the venue.
Dress Code = jacket and trousers, no jeans or trainers, ties encouraged.
No spectators (members excepted)
VENUE
The venue is the Army & Navy Club in Pall Mall, otherwise known as the RAG. 36 Pall Mall, London
SW1Y 5JN. The event will be held in the Pall Mall Room (Friday and Saturday), The Library, The Marlborough Suite and The Drawing Room (on Sunday).
The venue is wheelchair accessible.
TIME CONTROL
90 minutes for each player for the game PLUS 30 seconds added every move. This is not a knockout - you get 5 games!
PLAYER RATING RESTRICTIONS
- Players in the FIDE Major section must be Under 2000 FIDE AND ECF on the latest list, or the national equivalent.
- Players in the FIDE Minor section must be Under 1650 FIDE AND ECF on the latest list, or the national equivalent.
EVENT SCHEDULE
Round 1 on Friday 18.30 (6.30pm to 10.30pm)
Round 2 & 3 on Saturday 10.00 (10am) and 15.00 (3pm)
Round 4 & 5 on Sunday 10.00 (10am) and 15.00 (3pm)
