2026 Saturdays on the Square - Market Rules

You will need to contact Julie Hester, market organizer, at (765) 376-2154 with questions and list your season preferences on this agreement form. Space competition is limited due to market size, but our market continues to grow each year. Requests are on a first come, first serve basis. Spots can be filled for the entire season if desired, but only if you intend to attend the days you reserve. Please understand if you reserve space and don't show up, you will not be allowed to continue participating in the market.

While this is a no-fee market, we do have rules vendors are expected to adhere to. There is an option at the bottom of this form to make a donation to Charlestown Beautification, which helps fund city events, art, and beautification projects.

Setup: 8:30-10 a.m.
Market: 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Saturday, June 27th's Market will run in conjunction with the Backyard Classics Annual Car Show. Market will run from 9 AM-2 PM

Upon arrival, check in with the market organizer to get your spot. Spots are assigned "day of" the market. Do not drive into the market area without checking in or drive through another event set up prior to checking in.

You are expected to be in place and ready by 10 a.m.

There is no vendor parking on Short Street, which runs on 2 "short" sides of the square, between Main Cross and Main Streets.

No wandering vendors.

This is a family market, including children of all ages. Objectionable, profane, or inappropriate materials or inappropriate language are not allowed.

You will have room for a minimum 10x10-foot spot. Canopy tents are not required, but if one is used, it must be weighted down.

We do not accept booths that resell purchased items.

By signing this application, I agree not the hold the Charlestown Beautification Committee, Saturdays on the Square Market, or its volunteers or the City of Charlestown responsible for any damage or theft which might occur to any of my personal property, my booth, and/or sales items during my participation in this market.

I accept responsibility for all individuals working in my booth space. Anyone selling inappropriate items or items in bad taste will be asked to pull that product or opt to leave the market immediately. This market is incorporated around family activities, including children.

I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound, hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for losses and damages I may have against the Charlestown Beautification Committee, Saturdays on the Square Market, or its volunteers or the City of Charlestown, and all other parties and their representatives, successors, and assignees for any and all injuries and all claims of damages demands and actions whatsoever which may arise as a result of participation in this market.

I hereby grant full permission to any and all forgoing to use photographs, videotapes or motion pictures of this festival for any purpose related to the market, future markets, beneficiary or sponsor.

I also acknowledge I have read, understand, agree to abide by, and retained a copy of the specific Saturdays on the Square Market rules.
