    Ohio Bird Sanctuary

  • Explore and learn each month at the Sanctuary! This year we will be focusing on animal diversity and groups. A new Homeschool Class will also be running for students ages 12-18. This class, Adventures in Biology and Zoology, will feature in depth lessons and experiments. Students will learn through age appropriate lessons, games, and other activities.

  • Home School Classes will take place on the second week of each month.

     

    General Class options include:

      Wednesday: 10:00am - 12:00pm

    Thursday: 10:00am - 12:00pm

    Thursday: 1:00 - 3:00pm

    Friday: 10:00am - 12:00pm 

     

     NEW! Intermediate/ High School Class: Adventures in Biology and Zoology *specifically for students ages 12-18*

    Please Note: Students ages 12-18 may still sign up for other sessions, however, this class is specifically tailored to this age range.

    Wednesday: 1:00 - 3:00pm

     Please note that when you register your child, you will be registering them for all 9 monthly classes! Your child will be registered for the same class time each month, and you will not be able to switch times during the year.

    Non Members: $140

    Age Requirement:

    Students Kindergarten through 12th grade are welcome to participate in our Home School Program. Our Intermediate and Highschool Homeschool Class is open to students ages 12-18. Kindergartners must be 5 years old by August 1st, 2026

  • Refund Policy:

    No monetary refunds are offered for our Home School Classes. If your child is unable to attend a class that he or she is signed up for, you will not receive a refund for the value of that class. If a class has to be canceled by the Sanctuary due to extreme weather conditions or other acts of God, you will receive a refund for the value of that class.
