Paid Waitlist Terms & Selection Process

Because our Maine Coon kittens are reserved well in advance, approved families may be invited to join our paid waitlist.

Placement on our waitlist reflects both demand and the level of care involved in raising, evaluating, and thoughtfully placing each kitten. 

Waitlist Fee

Approved applicants may join our waitlist with a $250 non-refundable waitlist placement fee.
This fee secures a place on our waitlist but does not guarantee a specific color, sex, or timeframe, and it is not a deposit toward a kitten. 

Waitlist Term 

Waitlist placement is valid for up to 12 months from the date of approval.

During this period, families are eligible to be offered kittens as they become available.

Selection Order & Notification

Kittens are offered to waitlist families in order of placement as litters mature and become ready for reservation.

When a kitten is offered, families are notified with available details, including general color range, sex, and estimated go-home timing. 

Decision Window

Families have 24 hours to accept or pass on a kitten offer.

 
If a family chooses to accept, a separate reservation deposit is required to secure the kitten and remove the family from the waitlist.

Passing Policy

Families may pass on up to two kitten offers while remaining on the waitlist.

A third pass will result in expiration of the waitlist placement. The waitlist fee remains non-refundable. 

Expiration

 If no suitable match occurs within the 12-month waitlist term, the placement expires. Families are welcome to reapply if they wish.
