• YOU'VE GOT IT SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION

  • You’ve Got It Camp
All Levels | Ages 7 and up
(Younger students may be invited if currently enrolled in a lesson program)
    Cost: $500

We invite our campers to shut off the screens and discover what horses, new friends, and the beautiful outdoors can do for the soul.

Formerly our ever-popular Girls Got It, this camp features an all-new curriculum. Research has overwhelmingly shown the incredible impact horses have on people of all ages, especially youth. Studies show that interaction with horses can increase self-esteem, lower anxiety, and help develop social skills.

Our kids face many challenges today, and Shenanigans Farm has carefully planned activities both on and off our horses to help teach kindness, patience, sharing, and empathy. Horses have a unique way of slowing us down and encouraging thoughtful behavior. Like most animals, they respond directly to how we interact with them, much like people do.

    Daily activities include:

    Daily group icebreaker
    Camp journal
    Riding preparation

    Grooming
    Tacking
    One hour of riding daily

    Riders grouped by skill level
Beginners receive private instruction until ready for group riding
    Instructors available for advanced riders
Caring for horses before and after riding

    Bathing and grazing
    Feeding
    Watering
    Lunch break and free time
Group games and activities focused on trust, empathy, teamwork, and communication
    Journal, snack, and daily wrap-up

    Camp Reminders

Our camps are led by Brynn, a team member from Shenanigans Farm and student at the University of Findlay. Mary McKiernan, the owner of the farm, is also present throughout camp.

Brynn organizes campers into small pairs with a counselor, ensuring each child is supported and supervised during all activities. Safety is our number one priority, and we review all safety guidelines with parents and campers on the first day.
