La Semana Alegre at Hemisfair will take place on Thursday, April 23 from 5pm - 11pm and Friday, April 24 from 5pm - 11pm.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT DRINK VENDORS FOR THIS EVENT
We accept a small number of food vendors including pre-packaged food.
There is a fee to participate.
All vendors will be expected to provide the following:
- All necessary equipment needed for your booth space.
- All staff needed to operate your booth space.
- All cleaning supplies and a handwash station for your booth space.
- To follow all the San Antonio Metro Health Department guidelines for temporary food establishments. Find more information here: https://www.sa.gov/Directory/Departments/SAMHD/Licenses-Food-Permits/Mobile-Vending-Temporary/Market-Trade-Show
- All San Antonio Fire Department guidelines for temporary food booths.
- To operate a clean and presentable food booth.
- To clean-up the food booth space post event.
- To dispose of grease and oil in the appropriate receptacle at the event and not in the dumpsters.
- To treat the venue with respect and follow venue protocols.
- To follow event protocols for load-in and load-out.
- To remain orderly and compliant with state and local laws.
Insurance:
All food vendors must maintain and carry insurance for the event. Food vendors will need to submit proof of insurance as a certificate of insurance (COI).Submit a COI (certificate of insurance) listing the following as additionally insured:

The La Semana Alegre at Hemisfair will provide:
- 10'x10' space at the event
- For Cooking Vendors Only: 10' x 10' food booth tent structure with weights
- Listing on festival website and app
- (1) 30-amp power drop
- Any necessary Health and Fire Permits
Sales:
- Vendors retain 100% of your profits and are responsible for paying their own sales tax.
- Vendors must show proof of Texas Resale Certificate in order to participate. Find more information here: https://comptroller.texas.gov/taxes/sales/forms/
Fees:
- $5 non-refundable application fee.
- Food vendor fees are $1500 (includes health/fire permit where applicable and electricity fee)
- Pre-packaged food vendor fees are $552 (includes health permit and electricity fee)
Load-In Details:
Details will be advanced with all participating roasters leading up the event.
