By registering for and participating in the SPCA of San Pat County 10K Walk/Run, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
I understand that participation in a walk/run event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, dehydration, overheating, accidents, falls, contact with other participants, weather-related hazards, and road or trail conditions.
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in this event, whether known or unknown.
I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the SPCA of San Pat County, event organizers, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and any affiliated entities from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in this event, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, disability, or death, even if caused by negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
I understand that water stations will be provided, but I am responsible for monitoring my own physical condition and stopping or seeking medical assistance if I feel unwell. I confirm that I am physically able to participate in this event and have not been advised otherwise by a medical professional.
I grant permission for event organizers to use my name, likeness, and photographs or video taken during the event for promotional purposes without compensation.
I agree to abide by all event rules and instructions provided by event staff and volunteers.
