La Semana Alegre at Hemisfair will take place Thursday April 23 (5pm - 11pm) and Friday, April 24 (5pm - 11pm).
What are we looking for? Pop-up shopping that offers music themed merchandise, vintage, Tejano, rock n roll, etc. Please include a description of the music related, vintage/retro items you could offer at the event.
FAQs:
- Can I share space with another vendor? Yes, you may. Both vendors must submit an application and COI. Once accepted, please let us know the business name of the vendor you are sharing with.
- Do I need a Texas Resale Certificate? Yes, you are responsible for paying sales tax for items sold at the event. Email cat@galaxyproductions.com if you need more information.
Vendors will be expected to set up for the duration of the event on both days and to follow all festival requirements. This event is an all ages event.
There is a fee to participate and space is limited. Not everyone that applies will be accepted.
If selected all vendors will be expected to provide:
- Their own 10x10 tent or canopy, or 6x6 canopy or umbrella with at least 50 lbs of weight on each leg.
- Submit a COI (certificate of insurance) listing the following as additionally insured: HPARC, Hemisfair Conservancy and Galaxy Productions.

La Semana Alegre will provide:
- 10' x 10' space or a 6x6 space, depending on what you have signed up for
- Listing on the festival website
- (1) electrical outlet
Sales:
- Vendors may NOT sell beverages or food of any kind.
- Vendors retain 100% of their profits and are responsible for paying their own sales tax.
Fees:
- A $5 non-refundable application fee.
- Art Vendor fee is $150 for the 2-day event (please note this fee is for artists selling their work and small business, specialty vendors who sell music-related/inspired goods).
- Other Vendors (Commercial vendors and other vendors that do not fall into the above categories will be contacted directly with activation fees.)
Load-In Details:
Details will be advanced with all participating vendors leading up the event.
