    • REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT POLICY

This deposit is intended to help keep teams adhering to our leagues rules, including our equipment and scheduling policies.  Things like no-showing to practices or games without appropriate notice, leaving mounds out or unlocked, allowing your players to use metal cleats on our portable mounds, not locking up gate when finished with last game of the day on that field.  Those things will result in deductions to this deposit.  Any one offense could result $50 to $500 each (if equipment damaged beyond repair or stolen due to leaving unsecured, for example).

    • GENERAL SCHEDULING INFO:

      • Special scheduling accommodations might be possible but are not guaranteed
      • Accommodations may be made for teams participating in a BLD season, but proof of BLD participation may be required.
      • In the Spring Season we will schedule games around a selected week off for things like MLB Spring Training, etc.

      GAMES:

      • 11 Monday-Thursday (rarely Mondays, and not without notice) scheduled games, 10 guaranteed (unless your team cancels/misses)
      • Games to begin mid-February in spring, and early-September in fall
      • Games are scheduled on weekdays, typically between Tuesday and Thursday. Sometimes it may be necessary to schedule a Monday game, or even a Friday one, but this would be coordinated with the team
      • We will attempt to reschedule any missed games.  If fewer than the guaranteed amount of games are played we will fo a prorated refund for games under that amount.
      • If you miss/cancel a scheduled game, it's likely that you will simply lose that game without reschedule and we will attempt to find another team to replace you in that game.
      • If you miss a game without at least 4 hours notice, you may lose an additional game after that.
      • One umpire is planned for regular season games in 8u thru 12u, two umpires in 13u & Up (when available). Two umpires for playoff games (when available)

      PLAYOFFS:

      • Fall season playoffs typically begin the week of or after Thanksgiving.

      PRACTICES (if selected):

      • 17-18 practices are scheduled over the first 18 weeks from start date, one per week (Mon-Fri).
      • Spring practices begin February 1, Fall practices begin approximagely August 10.
      • Practices missed due to registering after those start dates are not refunded.  We may be able to offer an additional practice during or after the season, but no guarantees.
      • 8U practices are 1.5 hours (including 1 hour on the dirt). All other divisions have 2-hour practices (including 1.5 hours on the dirt).
      • We will make every attempt and work with you to get you an agreeable practice time/day/field but there are no guarantees.
      • We will make every effort to reschedule practices that are rained out or canceled for reasons beyond our control, but there are no guarantees.
      • Alliance teams use the same field-sharing structure as our rec teams. The first 30 minutes may be on the outfield grass while another team uses the infield, and the last 30 minutes may have another team on the outfield grass while your team is on the infield.
      • Teams may not share their practice fields with non-MPB teams.
      • We cannot schedule you practices until payment has been received.
      • If your team fails to show to a practice without at least 4 hour notification (to practice scheduler) you will lose an additional practice the following week.

ADDITIONAL PRACTICES - We sometimes have extra field availability before and after the regular practice date-ranges for our Alliance seasons. These fields will be available at the rates listed on the payment page for up to two hours each. ONLY REGISTERED MPB ALLIANCE TEAMS can use these slots. • CLICK HERE for Residency/Roster Requirements
    • TEAM RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS - MINIMUM REQUIRED MENIFEE/ELSINORE RESIDENCY IS 67% (2/3 of roster) to register for our Games+Practices option.  Under 67% may also be considered for our Games-Only option if space available.

This is important to the league, and has an impact on the field allocation we get from the cities parks departments.  If we suspect that a team has too many non-residents, or we are just not familiar with the team and players, we reserve the right to require proof of address be submitted.  FALSIFIED/INCORRECT INFORMATION COULD LEAD TO REMOVAL FROM LEAGUE (no refunds would be given for this reason).

    • TEAM ROSTER REQUIREMENTS - Must start with a minimum of 11 players and a maximum of 15.  Due to league insurance requirements players not registered at menifeepony.com or evbaseball.com will not be permitted to play in any MPV/EVB Alliance/SIBA games.  If non-registered players are found to be playing in your SIBA games you may be disqualified from post-season play or even the entire remainder of the season (no refunds would be given for this reason).

PLAYER ROSTER REQUIREMENTS - After team registration fee has been confirmed each player will be required to be individually registered into our system (this is required for waivers, insurance, etc, but is a very short form) by his/her parent/guardian. We will send you this registration info later.

      • Unregistered (at menifeepony.com or evbaseball.com) players can not practice or play on your team while you are using a field or game as part of our season and this registration.

    • PLAYING IN BOTH MPB/EVB REC & ALLIANCE DIVISIONS

Players are eligible to play in both the MPB/EVB Rec & Alliance Divisions under the following requirements:

      1. Rec games come first: A player’s commitment to their Rec team is top priority, meaning they can’t skip Rec games for any practice or game in the Alliance division (doesn't include practices).
      2. Dual registration requirement: Players must be properly registered in the Menifee Pony or Elsinore Valley Baseball system for both the Rec and Alliance teams.
      3. Pitch-count limits: Parents and coaches must be mindful of the combined pitch count across both teams to prevent overuse injuries.
      4. All-Star eligibility: A player can only be eligible for All-Star selection for one team, based on which team they registered for first.
      5. Consequences for violations: The MPB Board can suspend players from either or both divisions if any these rules are violated.

More details to these rules are listed in our Local Rules found on MENIFEEPONY.COM.  No refund will be given as a result of any missed games or practices that resulted from these penalties.
