Your support helps kids "Make Good Choices"! Through cooperative programs with USD 259 and not-for-profit organizations that work with at-risk youth, the Wichita Metro Crime Commission is committed to helping today's young people complete their education, stay off drugs, and go down the right path to a successful future.
The Make Good Choices golf tournament honors retired Wichita Police Department Lieutenant Kenny Landwehr. Lt. Landwehr had a 35-year career with WPD and is credited with solving the BTK serial-killer case and many other homicides during his 20 years as head of the homicide unit. His love of the game and for kids is why this tournament annually honors his memory.
