Application for the 55th Annual Carbondale Mountain Fair Art Vendor (2026)
Carbondale is a Colorado State Certified Creative District and is a hub for arts activity in the Roaring Fork Valley from Aspen to Rifle. Mountain Fair is known for its diverse range of art, ongoing entertainment, great food, volunterism and wonderful, dynamic spirit. We continually curate the best artisans for our fair, drawing visitors from all over Colorado and beyond, 2025 visitations totaled over 20,000. Mountain fair takes place in Carbondale’s Sopris Park, on Weant Street and historic Main Street. Vendors will choose or be selected for locations in all zones in order to serve the full area of the fair.
Mountain Fair is free to the public.
Carbondale Mountain Fair is always held the last FULL weekend in July.
July 24, 25 and 26 2026.
Criteria for applying/application link
Any artwork/craftswork submitted to the jury, must be created, designed and made or made under the supervision of the accepted artistan. Any individual, community, civic, social service organization or educational institution that sells only its own artwork, may apply. Criteria for evaluating the application include the quality, uniqueness and craftsmanship of the items.
Applications to participate in the 2026 Carbondale Mountain Fair are due, at midnight on March 20, 2026. Fill out this form to complete your online application. You will be notified by email if your application was accepted or denied by April 24, 2026.

Fee Structure
Application Fee: $ 60.00 (due now, non-refundable)
Following fees will be due upon acceptance
Booth Fee: $450.00
Right to choose your booth space: additional $50.00 (map will be sent after acceptance)
Corner booth: additional $100.00
WiFi
High usage of WiFi during the event can create spotty reception. Personal WiFi HotSpots are HIGHLY recommended!!
Zero Waste
Carbondale Mountain Fair is committed to being a zero waste event. All vendors must use compostable packaging materials and all garbage stations will have containers for organic waste, recycling, and garbage.
