We support independently owned farms, homesteads, roadside stands, CSAs, processors, and farms that host agricultural events, all offering their own farm-grown products. We value the many diverse traditions, techniques, and cultures that shape agriculture, and we welcome all ideas, experiences, and contributions.
As a Contributor, your contribution will be focused on supporting our work to build these three Core Initiative Pillars that will provide a solid foundation for Mi Farm Network’s sustainability to provide a realm of positive strength to stand strong in our mission.
Connecting Core Initiative Pillar
The Connecting Pillar provides Farm Members opportunities to connect directly with consumers through our Interactive Map, interviews, and podcasts. If a farm is ready, we can also help connect them with wholesale buyers, and eventually participate in a virtual farmers' market app. Supporting Members are also welcome to join the podcasts.
Supporting Core Initiative Pillar
The Supporting Pillar helps guide consumers to discover and support our Farm Members through media promotion, marketing tools, and community events that highlight their Farms.
Developing Core Initiative Pillar
The Developing Pillar strengthens the agricultural community by supporting youth in agriculture, providing emergency help to Farm Members, and eventually offering access to equipment resources to them, while expanding cultural outreach; adding strength and support when Members need it most.
Mi Farm Network operates as an LLC, not a nonprofit, so contributions are not tax deductible. Your support directly fuels sustainable farming, stronger local food systems, and the spirit of Local Supporting Local through Real Farms, Real Food, Real People in Michigan and beyond.
