Connecting Farms with Their Communities, in the Spirit of Local Supporting Local, with Real Farms, Real Food, Real People!
Mi Farm Network's foundation is built on the collective voices of farmers and consumers who have shared their desires for direct farm‑to‑consumer connections with us for the last 20 years.
Our mission is to strengthen food security, support sustainable agriculture, and inspire the next generation of growers, while providing healthy, local food options for all.
We support independently owned farms, homesteads, roadside stands, CSAs, farmers' markets, and farms that host agricultural events, all offering their own farm-grown products. We value the diverse traditions, techniques, and cultures that shape agriculture, as we also welcome all ideas, experiences, and contributions.
Mi Farm Network is growing to set a direct pathway between agricultural producers in the U.S. and Canada with their community members, enabling direct purchases and offering support through our Three Core Initiative Pillars: Connecting, Supporting, and Developing.
As a Founding Farm Member, you will gain access to and support from these three Core Initiative Pillars.
1) Connecting Core Initiative Pillar
The Connecting Pillar provides Farm Members opportunities to connect directly with consumers through our Interactive Map, interviews, and podcasts. If your farm is ready, we can also help connect you with wholesale buyers, and eventually participate in a virtual farmers' market app.
2) Supporting Core Initiative Pillar
The Supporting Pillar help guide consumers to discover and support your farm through media promotion, marketing tools, and community events that highlight Farm Members.
3) Developing Core Initiative Pillar
The Developing Pillar strengthens the agricultural community by supporting youth in agriculture, providing emergency help to Farm Members, and eventually offering access to equipment resources, while expanding cultural outreach; adding strength and support when Farm Members need it most.
Membership Commitment
Mi Farm Network is sustained through Member support, and we are committed to keeping Membership fees affordable. One hundred percent of Membership fees go toward maintaining the Network, supporting the Core Initiatives, and creating more opportunities that help farms succeed. Every new Member strengthens the Network and gives consumers more opportunities to support their local farms.
