    Girls Tourneys Family Agreement

To keep our environment fun, safe, and supportive for all players, we are only accepting families who:

    - Help create a kind, respectful environment for players and families

    - Let coaches do the coaching (not from the "sidelines")

    - Use respectful language toward their child and others

    - Support their daughter with encouragement, patience, and positivity

We reserve the right to remove families from our events if these expectations are not met.

I wish this went without saying, but unfortunately in today's youth sports world, it needs to be spelled out. 🙃

    Terms & Waivers

Review important terms, injury risks, and liability waivers before completing registration.

    Video Recordings

We want to inform you that the sessions may be filmed for various purposes, including but not limited to sharing on social media platforms and potential monetization. Rest assured, we will prioritize the safety and privacy of our young athletes throughout this process. If you have any concerns or objections to your child's participation in this filming and potential sharing, please feel free to contact us so we can address them accordingly. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of our program.

    Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change! If you need to cancel your registration, we're happy to process a refund as long as we receive your request at least 7 days before the tournament date. Please note that a $10 administrative fee will apply to cover the work involved in processing your refund. Unfortunately, we're unable to offer refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of the event, as we've already finalized rosters and made commitments based on your registration.

    Injury Liability/Assumption of Risk

While we are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for our participants, it's essential to acknowledge that the nature of sports involves inherent risks, including the possibility of injuries. By participating in our program, all players and their legal guardians accept these inherent risks and agree not to hold our sports organization, its facility, coaches, or volunteers liable for any injuries sustained during practices, games, or related activities. We strongly encourage all participants to adhere to safety guidelines, wear appropriate protective gear, and act responsibly to minimize these risks. Your child’s safety is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding of this important matter.

    Roman’s Law

Rowan’s Law requires all players under 26 years of age and all parents/guardians of players under 18 years of age and coaches to review Ontario’s Concussion Awareness Resources. You are required by law to review Ontario’s Concussion Awareness Resources, which can be found here: https://www.ontario.ca/page/rowans-law-concussion-awareness-resources

Your signature on the next page acknowledges that you have reviewed Ontario’s Concussion Awareness Resources, as required by Rowan’s Law.

    Parental Support, Not Pressure

We encourage a supportive atmosphere where parents are partners in their child’s athletic journey, providing encouragement and fostering a positive mindset without undue pressure. Thank you for being a positive force in our sporting community.

    No Instruction Spectating

We kindly ask that parents avoid shouting instructions to the players during games. It can be confusing and overwhelming for young players to hear different directions coming from all sides, especially as they're trying to focus and make decisions on their own. This kind of sideline coaching can actually hinder the development of natural game sense and instincts.

What is helpful and encouraged is supportive cheering and positive energy. The girls will love hearing encouragement to help keep their spirits and energy high throughout the game.
