May 9th Inner Landscape Retreat
  • Tending the Inner Landscape Day Retreat

at Fauna Forest Farm in Jonesborough, TN. Facilitated by Shae Keane, MA, LPC-Temp, Chelsea Green, MA, LPC, and Kim Hallin.
  • Now more than ever, we are being asked to tend to our inner landscapes so that we may show up in our relationships, our work, and the world in more sustainable and meaningful ways. In this retreat, you are invited to unplug, tune in, and connect with community, horses, and the natural world.

Activities will invite participants into relationship with horses - and nature - as conscious being. As we tend to our own inner landscapes, we’ll also attend to theirs — meeting the subtle conversation that unfolds when nervous systems share space with care.

In this mutual presence, horses reveal themselves not as mirrors alone, but as guides whose steadiness, sensitivity, and selfhood invite us into deeper honesty and regulation. This is an introduction to learning with horses rather than from them, an approach where wisdom emerges not through control or interpretation, but through respectful proximity and shared awareness.

Kim Hallin, the founder of Unbridled LLC, is an educator, facilitator, and author whose work is rooted in equine ethology, prey-animal wisdom, and emotional intelligence. For over a decade, she has been exploring the ethical, emotional, and relational dimensions of human–horse relationships, with a particular focus on tending inner landscapes shaped by trauma, attachment, and inherited patterns. Kim brings a steady, trauma-aware presence to shared spaces, inviting both humans and horses to be met as sovereign beings rather than tools for transformation. Her work is guided by humility, deep listening, and a commitment to mutual healing—where relationship, not outcome, leads the way.

Shae Keane holds a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and specializes in facilitating nature-connection therapeutic experiences.
