  • It is the policy of the Ennis Youth Baseball & Softball League to promote the development of a strong character, a positive attitude, a sense of responsibility and good citizenship in our youth. It is the purpose of Ennis Youth Baseball & Softball to achieve this goal through fair play and good sportsmanship with adult leaders providing the example. It is against policy for any person, either as volunteers or as spectators, to engage in arguments, to use abusive language, to harass umpires, managers, players or other spectators, or to exhibit any behavior not in context with the general intention of this policy.

The use of alcohol, tobacco products, alternative nicotine and vapor products, or illegal drugs or abuse of prescription or non-prescription drugs is prohibited at any practice, game (home or away) or any activity related to the Ennis Youth Baseball & Softball League.

  • PARENT/GUARDIAN SPORTSMANSHIP POLICY

    ·         I/We will place the emotional and physical well-being of my/our child(ren) ahead of my personal desire to win.

    ·         I/We will insist that my/our child(ren) play in a safe and healthy environment.

    ·         I/We will remember that the game is for youth, not adults.

    ·         I/We will ask my/our child(ren) to enjoy the youth sports experience by doing whatever I/we can, such as being a respectful fan!
