Waiver and Release of Liability for Live Piano Event

Event Details: Live Piano Performance by David at Kalisi Café (including café and courtyard), February 6, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This is an adult-only event; all attendees must be 19 years of age or older.

I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge that I am voluntarily attending the above event hosted at Kalisi Café. I confirm that I am at least 19 years of age and agree to drink responsibly if consuming alcohol. I understand that wine and craft beers will be available for purchase on site, and I accept full responsibility for my own consumption of alcohol, including compliance with all applicable British Columbia laws and regulations regarding liquor service and consumption.

Assumption of Risks: I acknowledge that participation in this event, including the consumption of alcohol, may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, illness, or other harms arising from my actions, the actions of others, or environmental factors. I certify that I am physically fit and have no medical conditions that would prevent my safe participation. I assume all such risks, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable.

Release of Liability: In consideration of being permitted to attend this event, I hereby waive, release, and discharge Kalisi Café, Kalisi Kids, Salt Air Events BC, CVI Lounge and Catering, and all their respective owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may be sustained by me or to any property belonging to me, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, while participating in the event or while on the premises.

Indemnification: I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from my participation in the event, including those related to alcohol consumption.

Governing Law: This Waiver and Release shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
