Our Spring "Away Trip" to Marin County will take place April 19 - 24, 2026. Hikes are planned for Monday, Tuesday and Thursday with Wednesday open for hikes or other activities. There will be a Welcome Reception Sunday April 19th at the San Rafael Embassy Suites and a Group Dinner on Tuesday April 21 at the Lighthouse Bar & Grill in Mill Valley.

Everyone attending must register in advance and pay a $20 per person non-refundable participation fee to help defray the meeting room rentals, fees and other incidental expenses incurred by the planning committee.

The price of the Tuesday group dinner is $60 per person.

A group dinner is planned at the Lighthouse Bar & Grill on Tuesday, April 21 which is a 17 minute drive from the San Rafael Embassy Suites to its Mill Valley location. This restaurant is set in a tennis club directly on the water and offers great views and fine dining. Doors will open at 5 pm for social hour followed by dinner at 6 pm.

Menu

Appetizers: (family - style)
- Calamari Fritti with remoulade, cocktail sauce & lemon
- Fresh Tomato Bruschetta with basil, feta cheese & balsamic reduction

Salad:
- Classic Caesar with shaved parmesan & garlic croutons

Entrees - Choice of:
- Grilled Filet of Salmon with mushroom risotto, asparagus & lemon caper beurre blanc
- Brandy Chicken with mushroom brandy sauce, mashed or roasted potatoes & asparagus
- Linguini Primavera with a light pesto cream sauce, fresh spinach & assorted vegetables

Dessert and Beverage:
- Toffee Crunch Blondie with whipped cream and berries

- Coffee & Tea

$60 per person. No Hot Bar.
