Conditions of Entry
Entries close Thursday 20 March 2026. Late entries will not be accepted.
2D Art – Wall-hung works. 2D works must be ready to hang with D-rings and hanging wire.
3D Art – Must be suitable for display on a plinth. Must be able to be carried manually (15 kg max.) and assembled by one person. Please note that 3D works must be placed on a plinth or the ground and viewed on all sides to be considered a 3D entry. If it needs to hang on a board, it is considered a 2D entry
Photography / Digital Media - Works must originate from photography, digital capture, or scanned analogue images and be digitally enhanced, manipulated, or composed using digital tools.
Eligible works include photographic works, digitally enhanced photographs, digital collage or composite works, and mixed media works where digital processes are a significant component.All works must be the original creation of the artist
The artist must hold all copyright and permissions for included materials
Fully AI-generated works are not eligible
Digital enhancement must be artist-led
Grace Cross Memorial Textile / Mixed Media - May be 2D or 3D
Must include textile elements (fabric, paper, fibre)
Youth Encouragement
Open to artists aged 12–17 years
Entrants must be under 18 years of age at the time of entry
Artwork Size
Maximum size: 1.5 metres high x 1.5 metres wide.
Labelling & Presentation
Each artwork must be clearly labelled with:

Sale price
All works must be for sale.
The cost of framing must be included in the sale price.
No wet paint.
Selection & Hanging
Sandgate Art Society Inc. reserves the right to:
Hang works at its discretion
Limit works due to space availability
Re-categorise works if entered incorrectly
Commission & Sales
A 25% commission will be charged on all sales.
Sale proceeds will be paid to artists via direct deposit after exhibition closing.
Delivery of Artwork
All artworks must be delivered to the venue on:
Wednesday 1 April 2026 | 4.00pm – 7.00pm
No artworks will be accepted outside these times.
Collection of Unsold Work
Unsold artworks must be collected on:
Monday 6 April 2026 | 2.00pm – 4.00pm
Uncollected works will incur a $30 handling fee.
Judging
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

All reasonable care will be taken with artworks; however, Sandgate Art Society Inc. accepts no responsibility for loss or damage while works are in its custody.
