2026 South Shore Technical Summer Discovery Program

Come join us at South Shore Tech this summer to experience hands-on technical training in our 2026 Summer Discovery Programs, available to rising 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade students! SST will host two separate sessions where students are able to choose one program to explore. During these sessions, students will explore various aspects of the respective industry each day. Students will learn shop safety practices and use various specialty hand tools and minor equipment. Projects will include both traditional and experimental methods.

Session 1: Monday, July 6 - Thursday, July 9, 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Session 2: Monday, July 13 - Thursday, July 16, 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Cost: $300 per session

No Refunds. We are unable to make any exceptions.

Please note: Students are encouraged to bring a snack and a drink each day. A t-shirt & safety glasses will be provided. Water and popsicles provided daily.

Waiver Form: A completed waiver form is required in order to participate. Please print and complete this waiver form and bring it with you on your first day. You may also email it to SummerDiscovery@ssvotech.org
