    Please complete this form with accurate details so we can ensure your child’s journey is properly recorded and celebrated. Please submit a separate form for each child you register.
  • Congratulations on registering your child for a unique and inspiring mathematical adventure, where every participant will be recognised and celebrated for their achievement with an official certificate marking their success.

    Stage 1: The Archimedes Online Challenge (Qualifying Stage)

    Date: Sunday, 8th February 2026

    Online start times:

    Foundation Division – KS2 (Years 3–4): 9.30am
    Advanced Division – KS2 (Years 5–6): 9.30am
    Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9): 10.30am
    Key Stage 4 (Years 10–11): 11.30am
    Key Stage 5 (Years 12–13): 12.30pm

    Format: Online, accessible from home or any suitable environment with a laptop, tablet or desktop and a stable internet connection
    Paper: 25 multiple-choice problem-solving questions
    Duration: 50 minutes

    Recognition:
    All participants receive a Distinguished Archimedes e-Certificate, awarded at one of the following levels:

    - Distinction
    - Merit
    - Participation

    Progression to Stage 2:
    High-achieving students will be invited to advance to the National Final Stage of The Archimedes Awards Competition.

    1. This form must be completed by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over.
    2. We collect parent and student details solely for administering The Archimedes Awards and do not share this information externally. All data is handled securely and in line with GDPR.
    3. By submitting this form, you confirm that you have read and agreed to The Archimedes Awards’ Terms and Conditions and all associated policies.
    4. Once payment is confirmed, a welcome email will be sent confirming your child’s registration and celebrating their entry into The Archimedes Awards Challenge 2025/26.
