Join us for a special evening program focused on helping Iowa food entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to take the next step with your home based food business, this program will walk you through the essentials of running a compliant, sustainable food business in Iowa.

What we’ll cover:
- How to start a small food business from your home or farm
- Understanding Iowa food laws and how they support home-based entrepreneurs
- What information is legally required on your food labels
- Current funding and grant opportunities available to food businesses
This session is ideal for cottage food producers, value-added entrepreneurs, farmers adding value to their products, and anyone curious about turning their food idea into a business.
Bonus: Participants will also have the opportunity to have a personalized business consultation to discuss their idea in detail with a food business specialist. Individual sessions will be 30 minutes and cost an additional $15. Time slots will be offered on a first come, first served basis from 2-5 pm prior to the workshop.
