Kindred Spirits Graduation Ceremony (Kindergarten • 5th Grade • 12th Grade Seniors) Join us as we celebrate an important milestone in our students’ homeschool journey with a formal graduation ceremony in a beautiful local venue. 📍 Location: Holly Theater   Cost: $25 per student Includes:  Graduation ceremony by grade level.  Certificate of completion for Kindergarten, 5th grade, or 12th grade.  Professional graduation photos.  Light refreshments following the ceremony Additional Information: A form will be sent closer to the event to collect student accomplishments, awards, or special recognitions to be announced during the ceremony.  Special guests (such as college acceptance representatives or others) may be accommodated to speak if desired.

Join us for a guided group visit to the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta Museum, where students will learn about money, banking, and the role of the Federal Reserve in the U.S. economy through interactive exhibits and real-world connections. 📅 Date: Wednesday, June 3 ⏰ Time: 10:00 AM 📍 Location: 1000 Peachtree Street NE Atlanta, GA 30309 Tour Details: Educational, interactive museum experience. Ideal for upper elementary, middle, and high school students. Hands-on exhibits focused on money, economics, and banking.  Group tour format. 🚗 Parking & Transportation Notes (Important) Museum parking is not available on Atlanta Fed property. Public transportation is strongly encouraged. The Midtown MARTA station is located directly across from the Bank on 10th Street. Nearby pay lots and parking garages are available, Parkopedia is a helpful tool to locate nearby parking options 👉 Registration is required.

Hands-on Earth science experiments for elementary students (approx. ages 6–11). Topics rotate monthly and focus on observation, testing, and discussion—no worksheets. Thursdays 1:30–3:30 PM: 6/4 📍 Lumpkin County Library. Supply fee covers all dates listed. Per-child registration.

Practical life skills for upper elementary & middle school students (approx. ages 7-14), including organization, basic home skills, communication, and real-world problem solving. Beginner cooking skills for elementary students (approx. ages 6–11). Students learn kitchen safety, measuring, simple prep, and easy recipes using basic equipment. Thursdays 1:30–3:30 PM:  6/11 📍 Lumpkin County Library Fee covers all dates listed. Per-child registration.

Fun, movement-based PE for mixed-age students (approx. ages 6-17). Games focus on coordination, teamwork, and fitness rather than competition. Thursdays 1:30–3:00 PM: 6/18 📍 Rotating Parks in Dahlonega (location announced day prior) Fee covers all dates listed. Per-child registration.

Interactive geography and world cultures experience. Students (approx. ages 7-14) explore countries through maps, activities, food culture discussions, and hands-on projects. MIddle & High School Enrichment * This intermediate-level cooking class is designed to help students build confidence and independence in the kitchen while learning skills they will use for the rest of their lives. Students will move beyond basic recipes and focus on: Kitchen safety and proper tool use, Reading and following multi-step recipes, Understanding basic nutrition and ingredient choices, Time management and working independently or as a team, This class is ideal for students who already have some kitchen experience and are ready to take the next step toward cooking real meals with confidence. Middle & High School Enrichment * This class focuses on strengthening critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through hands-on STEM challenges and logic-based games. Students will engage in: Engineering-style build challenges, Logic puzzles and strategy games, Team problem-solving and collaboration, Trial-and-error thinking and creative solutions,  The emphasis is not on memorization, but on how to think, adapt, and work through challenges — skills that are valuable across academics and real life.
