Important:

• Repertoire for Semi-final round video submssion and Final round video submission must be different.

Recording Requirements:

• Video must be recorded in one continuous take.
• Minimum 720p resolution, clear lighting, and clear audio.
• Hands, face, and keyboard must be visible.
• Video must be recorded specifically for IDYP 2026.
• Upload links via Unlisted YouTube / Google Drive / Dropbox.

Repertoire Requirements:

• Participant to perform one classical piece.
• All repertoire must be original classical works (no pop, jazz, simplified arrangements, or non-classical transcriptions).
• All pieces must be performed from memory.
• Repeats are not required unless essential to musical structure.

Repertoire for Semi-final and Final round must be different

 

Score Submission
A copy of the score must be submitted together with the video link.

Privacy
Video links must be set to Public or Unlisted.

• Registration fee is absolutely non-refundable.
• By applying into the audition, online or manually, applicant automatically understands, accepts and agrees to the terms, conditions and rules of the International Discovery: Young Pianist 2026.
• The organiser reserves the right to cancel or alter the event due to unforeseen circumstances. 
• The organiser reserves the right to amend any rules, terms and conditions and other matters without prior notice.
• By submitting the registration form, all candidates agree that all copyrights of their photographs, audio and/or video recordings belong to the organiser.
• The organiser retains all rights to the recorded materials.
• No payment to the participants will be made for the use of these materials for competition submission, broadcast and promotional purposes by the organiser and/or its sponsors.
