Mahj with Holly invites you to join the 2026 Spring Mahjong League beginning in February 2026 hosted at River Bleu!

Note: You must know how to play American Mahjong before the league begins!

February- April (Every other week on Mondays)

6-9 P.M. at River Bleu in Northlake

To secure you spot, you must register and pay prior to the event. Once you are registered, no refunds will be issued.

You might take extra time during the Charleston or when making passing choices, and you’re still learning to spot defensive plays.Intermediate: you’re confident with NMJL rules and comfortable with the game’s rhythm. You make thoughtful Charleston passes, can choose a direction based on your dealt tiles, and adjust as the game unfolds. You’re developing awareness of opponents’ exposures and discards.Experienced Player: you play with confidence, speed, and strong strategy. You read the NMJL card effortlessly, pivot easily between hands, and use both offensive and defensive tactics to guide your play. You help keep games brisk and engaging, easily completing 4 games in 2 hours with accuracy and confidence.I need to learn: if you're registering for the League before learning how to play—but you plan to take a class before League begins.
