  • This application form provides information required from applicants for being Exalted into Internet Chapter 9659, Province of East Lancashire, Supreme Grand Chapter of England.

    Please ensure that you have read the “How to Join the Chapter” page before making your application.

    Please note that all applicants are required to pay the Exaltation fee of 20.00 GBP with this application. This will be refunded if the application is refused.

    Unless you are a member of UGLE applicants are required to pay the SGC Registration fee & Provincial Registration fee (currently total of £134.50 GBP).   • Clearance Certificates / Good Standing Certificates / Dues Cards


    In order to complete this form you will need a certificate or dues card from each and every Chapter that you have been or are now a member of to show that you do not owe any dues/subscriptions to the Chapter.  These need to be in pdf electronic format.  You cannot continue with the application if you do not have these.

      2. Should you, as a result of the data that you have submitted, be eligible to join Internet Chapter , we will send you, by email, an email link to complete the Supreme Grand Chapter registration form.
      3. If you are a member of a Lodge that is not under the jurisdiction of UGLE your data will be submitted to UGLE to ascertain that the Lodge is under a jurisdiction that is recognised by UGLE.
      4. Membership of more than one jurisdiction may preclude you from joining Internet Chapter 9659 if one or more of the jurisdictions of which you are a member is not recognised by SGC. You will be notified if this is the case.
      5. You must also provide evidence that you are in good standing with every Lodge of which you are, or ever have been, a member. This may be a letter of clearance from the Lodge Secretary, a demit certificate, or a copy of your dues card. A copy of your Grand Lodge certificate, if these are issued by your Grand Lodge, will also be required. These items must be attached to your application.
      6. The chapter requires that you pay the sum of 20.00 GBP which is the current Exaltation Fee with this application. This will be refunded if your application is refused. If not already a member of UGLE or SGC you must pay the SGC registration fee £91.20 plus Provincial Registration Fee of £8.50 (99.70 GBP). You must also pay your first year's annual Subscription (currently 35.00 GBP). All these payments should be made as soon as possible and must be paid before you will be permitted to join.  In the event of any problem preventing you completing the joining process, and you do not become a member, the registration fee and annual subscription will be refunded in full.
      7. The data that you provide is required by Supreme Grand Chapter of England but will only be held and used for the purposes of your membership of a private Chapter under the Constitution of the Supreme Grand Chapter of England. It will NOT be divulged to any third party unless exceptionally demanded by law.
      8. Once the above have been formally concluded your application will be read out in open Chapter at the next Regular meeting, and then balloted at that meeting, which, if in your favour, you will be exalted at that meeting.
      9. Following your admission to the Chapter you will be required to pay an Annual Subscription, currently 55.00 GBP, on the first day of March each year.
