Program Details

30 hours total in-person classroom time. Your student is required to attend all 30 hours of the instructional time to complete this course. If there is an emergency and your student misses any class time, please meet with the management for further details for make up date or time. Every student needs to display respectful behavior at all times in the classroom to the teacher and other classmates. If your student is displaying inappropriate behavior, they will be asked to leave the class and make up the day at later time. If the student displays inappropriate behavior repeatedly they will be asked to leave class with no make-up days and no refund will be offered. If teacher and/or management suspects the student is under the influence of alcohol the parent or guardian will be contacted independently and the student will be asked to leave class and will not receive credit for that class. Students will receive one referral card in the first week of class to obtain their permit. Included in this program is the written exam, and road exam at the end of the course. All services expire after one calendar year.

Cell Phone Policy: Students are not allowed to use their cell phones, headphones, laptops, or other electronic devices in the classroom unless they have prior approval from management. All students may step out in the office to use their phones or on break.

Video recording: Best Price Driving School has security cameras located in the front office and classroom for security, and educational purposes. We are recording to better ensure the safety of our students and staff members. We will use the recordings to train our future staff on our classroom policies, and teaching procedures. Currently there are no cameras in the vehicles.

Break time: During each class day students will be given 10 minutes of break time per one hour of class time. During break your student may go outside of the classroom. Your student must notify the staff member if they are to leave the property at any point. If your student leaves Best Price Driving School property, our teachers, drivers, or other staff members are no longer responsible for your student's safety. Please be advised that our staff members will encourage them to bring their own snacks or drinks to class. Students are required to pick up their trash, and are responsible for their own personal items they bring to class.

Make-up policy: Classroom instructional time that is missed by a student can be made up during subsequent sessions to ensure that all required learning objectives are completed. If a student is unable to attend a scheduled class, they are responsible for formally requesting a specific date and time for their makeup session to facilitate better coordination and planning. Before a student can participate in a different class to recover missed content, management approval is required to maintain proper records and uphold academic standards.

Driving Lesson information

Driving Lessons: Each student will receive 7 hours of behind-the-wheel driving lessons, and must complete them to receive the Certificate of Completion. Each student will be using a certified Best Price Driving School Vehicle and with a certified Driving Instructor at all times. Once students have obtained their MVD-issued learner's permit, they may speak with any staff member to schedule a behind-the-wheel lesson. If your student is unable to operate the vehicle, please call the Best Price Driving School to reschedule. All rescheduling must be 24 hours prior to lesson time, or a $50 no-show/cancellation fee will be applied to the student's account. The student will not be able to schedule another lesson until this fee has been paid in full. If your student arrives without their permit, they will be charged a cancellation fee, and the lesson will be canceled. If the teacher and management suspect the student is under the influence of alcohol, the parent or guardian will be contacted independently, and the student will be asked to reschedule the lesson, and a fee of $50.

Extra driving hours: Students can book additional driving lessons beyond the standard program for an additional fee. These supplementary lessons are designed to help students gain more practice, improve their skills, or prepare for their driving test. To ensure availability and proper scheduling, each lesson must be reserved in advance. Please note that our policy requires students to provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. If notice is not provided, our no-show and late-cancellation fees will apply. This policy helps us manage instructor schedules efficiently and ensures fairness to all students. Refund policy: Best Price Driving School does not offer refunds after the 3rd day of class has been completed. We understand that life events do come up. You may move your student to a different class month if it supports your student's needs. This request needs to be approved by management only and needs to be accepted 2 weeks before the start date of the next class. Transfer policy: You have the opportunity and right to transfer your student to another driving school. The parent or guardian must contact the Traffic Safety Center for approval.

Please note: Each student is allocated a period of one calendar year to complete the driver's education course and driving lessons. If the student fails to complete the required coursework within this timeframe, they will be required to repeat the process. Furthermore, the student will be responsible for remitting payment for the class and associated fees anew.
