The program is designed for students who wish to learn how to drive and requires full in-person classroom participation. Each class session will begin promptly as scheduled. Students must sign in on the attendance for each assigned class date for participation. New students may join the class up to the third day of instruction; however, no registrations will be accepted after this point. Students who miss the registration window will have the opportunity to enroll in the next available class session. The course consists of 30 total hours of in-person classroom instruction. Students are required to attend all instructional hours to successfully complete the program. Full participation is mandatory. To earn a Certificate of Completion from Best Price Driving School, students must achieve a score of 70% or higher on the in-class exam. Successful completion of the exam is necessary to receive certification (Blue form). During the third week of class, each student will receive one referral card (a tan card) that allows them to obtain their learner's permit. Students may secure their permit from the Best Price Driving School MVD later. For details about class packages, MVD services, and driving lessons, please refer to the information provided below.
All services expire one calendar year from the class start date.
Student Expectations
Students are expected to arrive punctually for each session. In the event of an absence, it is required that the parent or guardian inform the instructor of Best Price Driving School of such absences. If a student misses 3 or more consecutive sessions, they will be withdrawn from the course and required to re-enroll at a later date; no refund will be issued. In cases of misconduct, including but not limited to raising voices, using offensive language, physical aggression (hitting), or damage to school property, the instructor will notify the student's parent or guardian and ask the student to leave the class session. The Best Price Driving School Instructor will complete a formal incident report within 24 hours. A copy of the incident report will be emailed to the charter school's Principal/Director to ensure communication regarding student safety. The student may return to the scheduled class if the student can follow classroom rules. If there is suspicion by the instructor that a student is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the parent or guardian will be called to pick up the student, and the student will be requested to leave the class until such time as the student is free of any drugs or alcohol. Students are required to pick up their trash and are responsible for their personal items brought to class.
Break time
Each class day, students will receive 10 minutes break for every hour of instruction. During this break, students may use their phones if needed. Students must inform a staff member if they intend to leave the classroom or the premises at any time for any reason. Once a student leaves School property, our instructors, drivers, or other staff members are no longer accountable for their safety. Additionally, students are encouraged to bring their own snacks or beverages to class. Students are also responsible for disposing of their trash and for their personal belongings brought to class.
