OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP
TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS
1. A separate online entry form must be filled for each competitor. Entries are to be made online through the BARCODE or LINK provided. Manual entry will NOT be accepted.
2. The Championships will be played in accordance with ITTF, TTA and TTWA rules and regulations.
3. An umpire whose decision is final on point of fact, shall control each game.
4. The Tournament Director reserves the right to refuse entries and to cancel or amalgamate any event due to lack of entries. Refunds will only be available if an event is cancelled or if a participant withdraws their entry upon notification of an amalgamated event.
5. No claim will be recognised should any player be injured during participation in the Championships.
6. Players who lost will be requested to umpire by the Tournament Officials. Please stay on the table after match to umpire next match. Refusal may result in disciplinary action being taken against the participant.
7. Players must report to the Official's table upon arrival. Players who have not reported 15 minutes prior to being called to play, will be disqualified. Refunds will not be given upon disqualification.
8. 40+ TIBHAR White 3 star ITTF approved will be used.
9. White colour clothing is NOT to be worn. Only Indoor sport shoes are allowed to worn while playing.
10. All nominated doubles combinations for Open Events are not required to wear colour matching clothing, however its strongly recommended. Opponents in singles events are required to wear contrasting colours.
11. All under-age events are open to players who have not turned the particular age as of 31/12/2025. All over age events are open to persons who have attained or will attain that particular age group as of 31/12/2026
12. All events (excluding event 1 & 3) will be the best of 5 games, Event #1 & #3 will be best of 7 games.
13. Event #16-17, #21-22 must have a minimum of 4 players or event will be merged within same age group.
14. A Grade strictly to all players Rating 1599 and under.
15. B Grade strictly to all players Rating 1299 and under.
16. C Grade strictly to all players Rating 999 and under.
17. Event #8, #10, #12 (grade double events), EACH players must not exceed rating limit. Not the average rating from both players.
18. Event #7-13 & Event #19-23; Players entering in age group & graded events, may ONLY enter TWO adjacent groups.
19. Event #27; Players will be partnered based on the ratings. Top rating player with bottom rating, second highest rating player with second lowest etc.
20. Event #28 (2 Players a team) Teams consist of 3 players each. Games will be the best of five matches. Olympic format system will be used. A minimum of 8 teams are required or event will be cancelled.
22. Any new players who do not have a rating, the level of standard will be decided by the tournament committee and shall be final.
23. Players are NOT required as 2026 TTWA member.
