Please read the following information carefully before submitting your registration:

• All safety procedures in accordance with NYS Department of Health and CDC guidelines will be followed. Should these guidelines change, registered participants will be notified by email.
  
  
• A list of local hotels and motels will be provided to attendees. Lodging is not included in the workshop fee.
  
  
• Attendees are invited to join the monks as their guests for the following meals during the week of the workshop:
  
  • Light continental breakfast (Monday–Friday)
  • Lunch (Monday–Friday)
  • Dinner (Friday evening)
  All other meals are the responsibility of the participant.
  
  
• The workshop fee includes all class materials, a signed copy of The Art of Training Your Dog, and a certificate of workshop completion.
  The workshop fee does not include an e-collar.
  
  
• Participants must be physically able to walk their dog and to put on and remove training collars independently.
  
  
• Fees are per person. Only one dog per registered handler is permitted.
  
  
• Participants registering as handlers and bringing their own dog must have a dog that is at least 20 weeks old at the time of the workshop.

In consideration being permitted to participate in the The Art of Training Your Dog seminar with the Monks of New Skete and Marc Goldberg, I understand and agree as follows:  

 

I understand that I will be involved in many activities that may include training dogs, handling dogs, and walking through uneven terrain.  I understand that dog training and handling dogs are potentially dangerous activities that could result in personal injury, property damage, and death.  

 

In consideration for being allowed to participate in this activity I hereby release, relieve, discharge, and hold harmless and shall indemnify the Monks of New Skete, Marc Goldberg, Chicagoland Boarding School for Dogs, ChicagoDogTrainer.com, their officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability or claims of liability, whether for personal injury, property damage, death, or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with my  participation in this seminar or any travel associated with it. 

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I assume full responsibility and risk, including financial responsibility, for any and all losses, injuries or damages, including medical expenses, which I may sustain when on or about the property of the Monks of New Skete located at New Skete Lane, Cambridge, New York, or when participating in any seminar activity or field trip. 

 

I, for myself, heirs, administrators, personal representatives or assigns, release, waive and discharge, and further agree to indemnify, hold harmless and/or reimburse the Monks of New Skete, Marc Goldberg, officers, employees, agents, representatives, insurers, and others acting on their behalf, of and from all claims, demands, and actions which I, or any other person or legal entity may have or claim to have, known or unknown, directly or indirectly, for any losses, damages, or injuries arising out of, during, or in connection with my enrollment and/or participation in the seminar or the rendering of emergency medical procedures or treatment, if any.   

 

I further acknowledge and agree that if I violate any seminar rules and regulations I will be subject to dismissal from the seminar and all remaining activities.  If dismissed, I understand no refund will be issued.

 

I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS ENTIRE AGREEMENT, CONSENT, WAIVER, AND LIABILITY RELEASE, AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
