JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH AUDITIONS

SPECIAL AUDITION DETAILS: 

This audition will take place on Thursday-Saturday, January 15-17th at Roaring Fork High School. If you are unable to audition on one of these audition dates, we will accept video audition submissions until noon on January 17th. 

Students should prepare and memorize a one minute monologue. 

CALLBACKS will be on Saturday, January 17th from 1-4pm. Callbacks allow us the opportunity to see some of the actors read scenes together. NOT ALL STUDENTS WILL BE CALLED BACK, but ALL students who register for this production will be able to participate!

Rehearsal and Performance Dates and Details:

 

REHEARSALS:

Rehearsals and performances will be held at Roaring Fork High School in the Auditeria. 

FIRST READ THROUGH: Wednesday, Jan. 21st, 4:00 to 6:00pm

Rehearsals will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting Wednesday, January 21st, from 4:00 to 6:00, until the week of March 2nd when we will move to a nightly rehearsal schedule.

PLEASE NOTE: Weekly rehearsals are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:00-6:00 after the first week, but we may add additional rehearsal times if need be.

TECH REHEARSALS: ALL TECH REHEARSALS ARE MANDATORY

Sunday March 8th from 12:00 to 6:00 - Cue to Cue; Heavy snacks will be provided.

Monday March 9th - Wednesday March 11th from 4:00 to 8:00 - Tech and Dress Rehearsals

 

PERFORMANCES: 

Thursday March 12th at 6:00 pm (call time 4:30 pm)

Friday March 13th at 6:00 pm (call time 4:30 pm)

Saturday March 14th at 6:00 pm (call time 4:30 pm)

Sunday March 15th at 2:00 pm (call time 12:30 pm)

SOL THEATRE COMPANY WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

 

I, the undersigned participant, am requesting my child’s participation in the SoL Theatre Company's Production of James and the Giant Peach.

In consideration of my child's participation in the production, I hereby waive all claims or causes of action against SoL Theatre Company, its auxiliary organizations, and the officers, directors, employees and agents of all of them, all of which are collectively hereinafter referred to as the "Company” arising out of participation in the camp and hereby release, hold harmless, and discharge the Company from all liability in connection therewith.

Knowing, understanding, and fully appreciating all possible risks, I hereby expressly,voluntarily, and willingly assume all risks and dangers associated with my child's participation in this production. Some of the risks and dangers are listed below. I understand this list is not exhaustive.

Common risks include: Travel to and from home and rehearsal & performance
location, food poisoning, theft, car accident, pedestrian accident, slips, trips and falls, glass or other sharp objects on floor, electrical hazards, other equipment hazards, noise, light (brightness/strobe), fire, harmful substances and contagious illnesses. In addition, I agree to use my personal medical insurance as a primary medical coverage payment if accident or injury occurs.

 

I also consent to having my students image used in promotional and fundraising materials for Sol Theatre Company. I will inform management at Sol if this consent changes for any reason.

 

I have read this waiver and release and understand the terms used in it and their
legal significance. This waiver and release is freely and voluntarily given with the
understanding that right to legal recourse against the Company is knowingly given
up in return for allowing my participation in the camp. My digital signature on this
form is intended to bind not only myself but also my successors, heirs,
representatives, administrators, and assigns.
