2026 DEVELOPMENT GUIDE FOR FESTIVAL VENDORS
  • Cheerwine vendors (Craft, Food, and Beer) are strongly encouraged to develop a Cheerwine inspired item to sell or sample at the Cheerwine Festival. For instance, a Bakery may do a Cheerwine Cake, Crafter Cheerwine Bottle Cap Earrings, or Brewery Cheerwine Lager. Vendors serving Cheerwine items at our previous festivals experienced excitement for their item; festivalgoers seek “everything Cheerwine” and it can be a successful draw for your vendor spot.

This guide walks you through the mandatory requirements and steps to participate with a Cheerwine item at the festival. The Cheerwine brand has over a century of history. It is imperative that the Cheerwine brand’s visual consistency and brand values are maintained through your item’s presentation. Your Cheerwine item must reflect the values of the Cheerwine brand and the family-friendly festival of its name.

    DOWNLOAD CHEERWINE BRAND GUIDE (PDF)

CHEERWINE SYRUP: Purchase Cheerwine Syrup for the development of your Cheerwine inspired food or beverage item.  Re-sealable 16.9 oz bottles of Cheerwine Syrup are available for purchase at www.cheerwine.com and at Cheerwine’s headquarters located at 1413 Jake Alexander Blvd, S., Salisbury, NC, between the hours of Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-2:00 PM.

    REQUIREMENTS:

      • Cheerwine must approve your Cheerwine item through the outlined process to be included in the festival. Items at festival that have not been approved through the official process will be prohibited; the offending vendor must remove the item from sell/display immediately, vendor fee will not be refunded, and vendor participation could be declined from future City of Salisbury events.
      • Use of approved Cheerwine branding and logos, this includes the item itself and packaging/tagging (as applicable). See accompanying required guide for logos, fonts, colors and usage.
      • Cheerwine items may ONLY be sold on the festival date: May 16, 2026. Vendors are not authorized to sell their Cheerwine items before or after the festival date. Should inventory remain at the conclusion of the festival that the vendor would like to liquidate, you will be responsible for contacting Cheerwine to discuss the next steps for your inventory and it will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
      • SUBMIT YOUR CHEERWINE INSPIRED ITEM WITH YOUR VENDOR APPLICATION. Submittal of Cheerwine item does not guarantee acceptance into the event. Vendor agrees to conduct its business in a manner likely to enhance the success of the Cheerwine Festival and the reputation of the City of Salisbury.

    CHEERWINE INSPIRED ITEM PROCESS

    STEPS TO PARTICIPATE:

      1. Brainstorm and explore ideas for a Cheerwine item(s) that fits with your own brand and maintains the integrity of the Cheerwine brand as directed in this guide.
      2. In the case of a Cheerwine food item, the essence of the Cheerwine flavor MUST be detected and present in the item. Consideration must be made to the cherry and effervescence soft drink nature of Cheerwine. Cheerwine’s red color is important.
      3. Use the approved Cheerwine logos, colors and fonts as applicable to develop item(s).
      4. Follow ALL Vendor Submission Directions:
        1. The item itself (with packaging, as applicable, and display signage for promotion, if necessary) may be drawn in detail OR developed as a sample photographed. Method of entry does not influence approval. Multiple unique items may be submitted; a new form must be completed for each item.
        2. Completed form and item drawing, photo, OR sample item must be received WITH APPLICATION. Submissions after the application deadline will not be reviewed and accepted for sale. Submit completed form with item drawing or photo.
