Safety, Security & Risk Management for Camp Professionals
This program equips camp leaders with the knowledge and tools to effectively manage safety and security in today’s camping environment. Participants will explore key aspects of emergency operating procedures, staff training and proactive risk management strategies. Designed for professionals responsible for the well-being of campers and staff, this program emphasizes practical approaches to creating a safe, responsive and resilient camp culture.
Led by Jim Schwab, Director of Security at the Mandell JCC in West Hartford; with a background in law enforcement and nearly a decade working with the Greater Hartford Jewish Community and Mandell JCC Camps, Jim brings a unique blend of security expertise and insight to the camp environment.
