Equestrian Playday Waiver and Release of Liability Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for Happened by Chance Horses Playday 2026

This Waiver, Release of Liability, Hold Harmless andIndemnification Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into voluntarilyby the undersigned participant, or by the parent/legal guardian of a minorparticipant, in favor of the hosting organization, its officers, directors,employees, volunteers, agents, sponsors, property owners, and affiliatedparties (collectively, Happened by Chance Horses, listed as the"Organization" through the remainder of this waiver).ASSUMPTION OF RISK I understand and acknowledge that equestrian activities are inherently dangerous. Horses are large, powerful, and unpredictable animals that may act or react suddenly and without warning. Risks include, but are not limited to, falling, being thrown, trampled, kicked, bitten, collisions with other horses, riders, objects, or persons, uneven ground, equipment failure, and weather-related hazards. I understand that injury or death may occur to participants, spectators, or others, and damage to personal property may occur. I voluntarily assume all risks, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, arising from participation in or presence at the equestrian playday.RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY In consideration of being permitted to participate in or attend the equestrian playday, I hereby release, waive, and discharge the Organization from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, damages, losses, or liabilities of any kind, whether arising from negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law, arising out of or related to participation in the event, including those caused by the inherent risks of horses and equestrian activities.HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFICATION I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organization from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to my participation, or the participation of the minor child listed, including claims brought by third parties.MINOR PARTICIPANTS If the participant is under eighteen (18) years of age, this Agreement must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. By signing below, the parent or legal guardian agrees to all terms of this Agreement on behalf of the minor and assumes full responsibility for the minor’s participation.
