Dress Code

Business casual attire is welcome. African attire is encouraged in celebration of our heritage. Red, black, and green are the traditional colors of Kwanzaa.

Photography, Recording & Livestreaming

This event will be photographed, recorded, and livestreamed. By attending, guests acknowledge that their image, voice, or likeness may appear in event photography, recordings, broadcasts, and promotional materials.

African American Cultural Celebration

The Kwanzaa Awards is an African American cultural celebration honoring the Seven Principles of Kwanzaa (Nguzo Saba). Guests will experience cultural reflections, storytelling, artistic expressions, and community recognition. All attendees are expected to honor this space with attentiveness, kindness, and respect.

Age Appropriateness

Guests of all ages are welcome. Parents and guardians are encouraged to consider whether young children can comfortably participate in a live awards ceremony.

Tickets & Admission

Advance registration is required. Each General Admission ticket includes one buffet-style meal. Vendor Table registration includes two admissions and two meals. Donations do not include event admission.
