  • Session Themes

    Get Excited!!

Learners may select any week(s) to participate.  Each week is filled with excellent new content, skills, and activities. Two weeks of the same theme, however, contain independent skills, focus, and fun!  Join for one week or both!

Using evidence-based and multisensory practices, learners will engage in reading, writing, spelling, math, and executive functioning concepts and skills.  It's time to make learning fun and engaging!

    Mind-Craft Madness!

    Session 1:  June 15-19

    Session 2: June 22-26

If you love building, this is your camp! Forget the screens—here, you become a junior architect and city planner using real-world materials. We start with the bedrock of design: learning simple, hands-on structural concepts, like ensuring your roof stays up, and drafting efficient floor plans that fit all your rooms inside the walls. Throughout the camp, students experiment with scale, shape, and structure as they design their projects. It’s a chance to build big, learn about the physical laws of space and gravity, and use your creativity to plan structures that are both fun and structurally strong! You’ll leave with an understanding of how the world around you is built.

Olympian Quest:  Greek Gods, Heroes, & Monsters!

    Session 3:  July 6-10

    Session 4: July 13-17

Wow! Did you know Hercules and the heroes of Mount Olympus were also inventors? In this exciting lab, we read cool stories about gods, heroes, and monsters, then use science and engineering to recreate their adventures! Build a flying machine like Icarus (with safe materials!), use levers and pulleys to lift giant stones like a cyclops, and design a secret fortress to hide treasure. We use LEGOs, tools, and creativity to make mythology magically real!

    My Toy Story

    Session 5:  July 20-24

    Session 6:  July 27-31

Have you ever wondered where your favorite toys and games came from? Let's find out! We'll explore the history of play, learning about ancient board games and how toys have changed over time—from simple blocks to modern gadgets . Then, we'll dive into the fun math behind Game Theory to look at why some games need luck (like rolling dice) and why others need smart thinking (like strategy!). Finally, you get to be the inventor: you will design, craft, and test your own brand-new toys and games from scratch! It's the perfect camp for kids who love to play, think, and create!
