     Important Details:

    - Guaranteed Performance: Each selected act is guaranteed one performance opportunity.

    - Performance Duration: Performances generally range from 15 to 25 minutes, with some flexibility for exceptional circumstances.

    - Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of $25 is required for each submission.

     Application Eligibility:

    - Open to all music genres, poets, musicians, and other performing artists.
    - Black artists from around the globe, including both signed and unsigned talents, are encouraged to apply.

    - Please note that not all applicants will be selected for participation.

     Application Process:

    - You will receive a confirmation email from Black Art Matters The Pop Up within 4 weeks of submission. If you do not receive a notification within this period, please follow up via email to ensure your application has been properly received and is under consideration.

     Artist Wristbands:

    - If selected to perform, both international and U.S. artists will receive Artist Wristbands. These wristbands grant access to the event as a distinguished performer and include a plus 2 for your guests.

     Communication:

    - To ensure receipt of all important updates and notifications, please add our email address (blackartmatters@gmail.com) to your contact list to prevent our messages from being directed to your spam folder.

     Application Submission:

    - Kindly provide the requested information below to apply for Black Art Matters The Pop Up 2025. Applications will be reviewed, and you will be informed of your selection status within 4 weeks of submission.

    By submitting this application to Black Art Matters The Pop Up, LLC (“Black Art Matters The Pop Up”), I (referred to as “I,” “you,” “me,” “my,” or “Applicant”) acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

    I have read and agree to the Black Art Matters The Pop Up Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Code of Conduct.

    I understand that the terms of this application, including eligibility criteria, deadlines, and all related requirements are incorporated into these Terms and Conditions, and I agree to them fully.

    I acknowledge that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into Black Art Matters: A Juneteenth Pop Up on June 20, 2026. Only completed applications will be reviewed, and all selection decisions are made at the sole and absolute discretion of Black Art Matters The Pop Up. The organization is not obligated to provide applicants with feedback or reasoning regarding acceptance or denial.

    I understand that the application fee covers the receipt, handling, and processing of my application and is non-refundable for any reason, including but not limited to: non-acceptance, personal inability to participate, or withdrawal.

    If selected for the June 20, 2026 event and the activity I am accepted for is canceled for any reason, I may request an application fee waiver for the next scheduled Black Art Matters The Pop Up event. Questions regarding fees may be sent to blackartmatters@gmail.com prior to submitting an application.

    Black Art Matters The Pop Up will treat my submission information as confidential; however, I understand that:
    (a) I am solely responsible for protecting my intellectual property rights, and
    (b) sharing creative materials online carries inherent risks, including potential unauthorized use, which I assume unless caused by the gross negligence of Black Art Matters The Pop Up.

    I represent and warrant that all information provided in this application is accurate and truthful; I have full rights to the materials submitted; my work does not infringe upon any third-party rights; and my participation in Black Art Matters: A Juneteenth Pop Up will not violate any agreements to which I am bound. I further agree that I will not enter into any agreements that conflict with the warranties made here.

    I hereby indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Black Art Matters The Pop Up, its owners, affiliates, officers, directors, agents, and employees from any liability arising from:
    (a) any breach of my representations in these Terms, or
    (b) my violation of these Terms, event guidelines, or policies.

    This application does not grant me rights to use Black Art Matters The Pop Up trademarks or proprietary materials. I agree to comply with their Trademark Guidelines, which may be updated periodically.

    If accepted, I grant Black Art Matters The Pop Up perpetual permission to use my name, likeness, image, voice, biography, statements, and any content I provide — or that is captured during my participation in the June 20, 2026 event — in promotional materials, media, and marketing, without financial compensation. I acknowledge that Black Art Matters The Pop Up may edit, modify, or adapt such materials and that no approval from me is required.

    I consent to Black Art Matters The Pop Up collecting and processing the personal data I provide for the purpose of reviewing my application and communicating with me.

    I acknowledge that Black Art Matters The Pop Up reserves the right to modify event dates, locations, timelines, or participation methods for June 20, 2026, or to cancel, suspend, or alter the application process at any time. I understand that notice may be given via the official website and that I will have no legal remedy against Black Art Matters The Pop Up for such changes, including denial or cancellation of my application.

    These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of California and the State of New York. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Los Angeles County, CA, or Kings County, NY.
